    Clearly its not ya fool. But literally what better option exists?
    Stone cold Steve Austin the nation (what the name of Austin makes me think) is below the bottom of the barrel and that was when she first joined.
    The situation is the worst. Yet you have idiots that somehow think a child commander of petite frame is the worst option?
    How about all the old cronnies at the top that led the nation into this situation by not forcing change before her time.

    For sake of argument I advise this… "A blind man should not throw rocks at Wasp hives"
    Cause that is exactly what seems like Austin was… a blind man tossing rocks at wasp hives.
    Sabeth is a serious threat yet your going to be hard on your other neighbors?
    I mean I do not see why other border nations would turn on them if they were actually good neighbors.
    But my advise is also towards the others starting these fights.
    The Nobles of each of these places are the blind men and other peoples armies the wasp nests… to be perfectly clear.
    I judge this series to be about half to 3 quarter the way done after this vol.
    The remainder is to resolve the current conflicts and not have more nations come into it.
    If not then wars can be infinite and I truly would only feel sorry for the MC being written as a life of only war and no true period of peace.

  7. Oof when a report is so unbelieveable you get why they lied about the enemy count.
    150=10,000
    Sorry but 10K is more like the ammo fired in the fight.
    Now if the Aer heads really did sus it was 10K and it was no lie on their account but gross exaggeration brought on by faulty counting then who ever counted needs to be tried for treason or something. That is way terrible skill in counting to confuse such number differences.

    The first half of this volume is wild. Imagine going through PTSD hallucinations because everyone you care about keeps dying, and your closest living friend puts together a company dedicated to celebrating how lucky you are.

    I’m curious if the factions in the army will become relevant. Unless I’m forgetting something, it feels like a bit of a sudden introduction. In the past, whenever there are disagreements in command it’s felt like debate was between the new blood who were trained specifically for modern battlefields, and the old commanders who are drawing from their long (but not always relevant) wartime experience. For a story that loves emphasizing the corruption, incompetence, and bureaucracy of government institutions, you’d think factional disputes would have been relevant earlier. It might just be the author trying to be subtle about telling us that Bern’s on the verge of becoming the person in charge of half the army and directly conflicting with Renvel, but maybe we’ll see more from it.

    On that note: oh god, this volume had a happy ending and Bern’s about to be the highest ranking member of a faction that controls half the army. Next volume’s gonna be horrific.
