Is that damage an indicator of condition? As in, durability? Damaged Gun 2% maybe? At least that's how I would have perceived that.
Can weapons rust in this game, the rain/pistol was giving me anxiety 😀

the devs are going to update the demo soon to include being able to build a base from an existing house (ver. 0.002), there are crafting benches in the world, I've personally only seen one in a garage (I haven't watched your full vid yet to see if you've found one) but I'm sure in the near future we will be able to build them. From your last video saying that this reminds you of PZ, this game was actually inspired by PZ.
from your map comment, there is no map yet, there is a device called "gps" but I'm unsure if it's working. According to the dev in the discord there isn't a map yet though
I asked the dev if there was a way to turn off rain. He said it's tied to time so you could go into the console using the tilde and use AddTime 500. That will advance time 500 seconds. You can try smaller increments but I was being lazy.
If your body temp was 50 degrees F you would have had to have been dead for a few hours.
you should be able to fish, and the demo (confirmed from devs) will be updated until they release the game for sale. sunscreen is confirmed to be implemented in 0.003.

Yes Zombie Kage your body temp is 59, you might even have a Zombie Fever. It's showing you the outside temp. Maybe if he fixes it to say Durability instead of Damage it would be easier to understand.

The colors correspond to what the item category is. When you look at your inventory, those buttons you click on to filter specific types of items, are color coded. That paper was purple, when you clicked the purple icon, it shows up under that category.

The dev should have added more crafting to the demo. It seems like an interesting game, just a super lame sauce demo. I wouldn't play anymore until they add crafting to the game at the very least.
The damage is how worn the item is because stuff breaks down and has to be repaired

def wanna see more on how to craft things, finding the advanced workbench in the small water pump house with the gate around it , and find everything you can to leave there after a few loot drops searching the city. after its full of loot try to see what you can make and how it works, looks like an interesting crafting menu once you fig it out it could be cool on making weapons or tools or even structures possibly like in Zomboid ???? anyway cool vid thanks 4 the great stuff

Mist added a wetness mechanic. It seems better balanced. Plus raincoats are easy to find.
damage was 0% so you haven't used it. you can still use 100% of the weapon
