We are racing on Forza Horizon 5 with some rather fast cars, and while my Lexus RC-F Track edition is pretty good i spend much of my time trying to defend from even faster cars

No stress, Lexus' weren't ever known for their extraordinary handling anyways😂
But that Saleen tho! 😍😍
I love when you post these, best days ever. Watching this while doing my cardio!
Nice to see beautiful cars doing serious racing 🤩
Lexus
Personally want to see the biggest vs the smallest sometime in the future
That F40 sound 😍
That Gallardo was a struggle to drive in places. I’m sure a better driver could have gotten more out of it, but I had fun most of the time.
Hiya Alex,, I'm a Alex too lol..
Could you do a race where the cars are Less than 2500lb's and a 1000hp.. think this would be an excellent Race hehehe 😉.. Lovs Ya.. 🤟
I absolutely ruined my 911 Speedster, I should've picked something better but keeping it as RWD almost made the darn thing uncontrollable, haha. Great racing nonetheless! Thanks for the opportunity. – PureBusiness595
Survive the hunt!
I always try to build my cars exactly the way you do in terms of grip and handling. I much prefer a slightly understeery car that sticks over a oversteering unpredictable car. Usually slower in the straights but better in the corners. great video as usual! one of the only FH5 players I watch!
The Saleen has to be one of the most underrated cars ever. A diamond of its day. Alex, you're a great driver and gentleman racer, but your propensity toward understeer is maddening!! 🤯
Love the paint job. Eyeliner on fleek.
Why hasnt the tire smoke been patched?
@FailRace, I would like to see you do races where the last place person builds the previous winners car, 2nd to last builds 2nd place, etc.
Rx7 was 4-rotor swapped widebody with sport brakes and semi-slicks. Didn't work within my skill level unfortunately, needed more grip. Braking was… sketchy most of the time.
You know there's no need to go above the rev red zone, as the power of a car is maximum just before the red zone. To go faster one should shift right at the beginning of the red zone, not at the rev limiter.
I made the test on a few cars IRL, but also in video games : you are faster when you shift at the very beginning of the red zone rather than later
finally some decent class racing!
I always am a curious what the results would be with the 'hine site' choices !!
Like a sort off time comparing also with other cars to keep the same element of fighting.
The easiest way to win this would have been to have a car that if fast to begin with and give it as much grip as possible.
24:21 dafak modem sounds lol?
6:10 Is that a hubcap ???
Toyota would be better at styling vacuum cleaners than tuning cars for any sort of "performance" anymore.
The old dial-up handshake sound at 24:21 brings back memories. Did anyone else notice it? Was that CoffeeAddict667's horn?
love seeing a Saleen appearance, such a rare cool car
a race you should try is everyone has to pick a d class car and can tune it up to s850 but you cant do engine swap or drive train but everything else is up to you, also no 4wd
how to be like Alex: 1) build a handling car 2) whine all video about not having enough speed 3) rinse, repeat
I would say that performing better with an understeery car is much more common than performing well with an oversteery car (not to say you don't perform well with an oversteer centric car given the Gordini's beformance).
You gotta admit, that F40 looked fun. Almost true to the OG; deadly in the wrong hands, godly in the right.
I like the RC-F but it doesn't feel like a fast car. It has good turning but in the straights it feels heavy and sluggish.
Suggestion: revisit FH4 for a team adventure in snow!
