In this video, I talk about about the best new settings for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. From my experience, the general FPS and responsiveness has not been too bad on the new season’s map, but because, I know there are a ton of people are experiencing bad input delay, FPS drops and error messages that don’t let them play the game, I am here to help! Luckily, I was able to gather the best brightness settings, video graphic quality options, and FPS Boost tricks and tips to help optimize your game in Chapter 6 Season 1. I was also able to test out the big new setting Epic added called SIMPLE EDIT, and go in depth into the pros and cons as well as whether or not you should start using simple edit. IT’S SICK! The settings I will go over though will include Nvidia graphic quality setting changes you can make to your brightness, contrast, and digital vibrancy, tips on which color blind modes to choose from the available colorblind options (deteuranope, protanope, and tritanope) and other tips and tricks for more frames on both console and PC. On top of that, I talked about the secret changes Epic made to the graphic quality options in Chapter 5 as well as what rendering mode is the best between performance mode (high and low meshes), DirectX 11 (DX11) and DirectX 12 (DX12). I tried to include as many tricks to boost your FPS as I could for both console (PS4 and Xbox One) and PC, mobile and switch, but I obviously could not fit everything into one video (some systems don’t have them either like performance mode on PC). My cpu usage is way higher than my gpu usage for some reason…with no background apps, cpu usage is around 90% while gpu usage is only 30%. fps capped at 120 but i still get stutters and massive fps drops. Anyone else faces the same problems or just me? And does anyone know how to fix it ?

You cant use the dx11/12 settings on performance mode it auto changes everything to low/off that's why they dont show up, if you put everything on epic in dx12 save then change to performance restart then change back to dx12 restart all your epic setting are reset to low/off

Simple edit is sooo fun they haven't added it the competitive but its in ranked.. I got used to it bu trealize i cant use it in comp and im sad now cause it legit turned me from a 3k pr fighter into a 5k pr fighter

I think it must be my cpu. I have a 10900. I have replaced every part on my pc except for my cpu thinking that my cpu was powerful enough for fortnite. But after years of upgrading I still have the same stuttering issues ive had for years. I wish I knew if my CPU was just faulty or what. But it plays every other game like complete butter. Thats what confuses me. Fortnite has always been the one game on pc i cannot get to run properly even in performance mode with literally every on low. I have a 4070ti super and an i9 10900 with 64gbs of ram. And i just replaced my ssd with a 2tb fast with read and write times. I play in 1440p. I look up other people playing Fortnite with my cpu and its smooth. Mine is never smooth. I will get very high fos and it looks and feels great all except for the constant stuttering. I have tried for years to look at settings videos and none of them work. Can someone possibly tell me whats wrong.
