I play a Magic the Gathering Online Modern league with Dino-Form Dino-Storm, a brew challenge from Patreon subscriber Kevin. Kevin wanted to see Dinosaurs doing cool things. The brew took many twists and turns, but then Etali, Primal Conqueror was printed and it all came together! Etali is a spicy dino-storm enabler who happens to share a mana value with Atraxa, Grand Unifier so Neoform can go either way. All the payoffs are legendary for Goryoβs Vengeance too, so you can go off at instant speed! Cream of the Crop sets the top of your deck so Etali always flips gas. Essence Flux lets the party continue when you flip it off Etali or Atraxa. FORMING AND STORMING! MTG

Hello!
I just built Neoform Affinity and added in Somber Hoverguard to Neoform for Atraxa (along with the normal 8 drop Neoform targets from Thought Monitor)
Eww, modern.
The deadpan jurassic park references are so good
Life uhhhhh finds a way made me laugh so hard
My inner child stomped her feet and threw a tantrum when you said, "It had too many dinosaurs in it" but as an adult I agree that it is probably wise to limit the number of dinosaurs in your life.
Just a small error. At 1:14 you say "The deck had too many dinosaurs in it". That's objectively impossible. Otherwise like your content, so I'll stay subscribed for now.
I'm just going to take a shot in the dark and say at some point you could have essence flux'd in response to a tef3ri activation
or that ornathopter loses flying when you neoform it
Cream of the Crop and Etali looks so fun together. I want to do something with that in edh with a bunch of clones/flickers now lol
In round 4 game 3, how playable is it to keep the opening hand, skip a land drop, move to discard, and have Atraxa on 3??
R4 oh my you're dino-doing it.
I think there were the most elaborate stacks I've seen since, well, shaman tribal?
Woman inherits the earth.
This was nuts, looked very fun!
I love your content man. Best mtg play by play online
You misremembered the South Park anecdote lol
I'm impressed by how you avoided getting tilted after an error. I think many players would have just phoned it in after losing Atraxa in M1G2, but you just kept on chunkin'. Mad Props.
Shriekmaw in sideboard?
God creates dinosaurs, God destroys dinosaurs. God creates Man, Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs…
… Dinosaurs eat man, Mom inherits the Multiverse.
– Phyrexian Scriptures, probably
You don't need to cream anymore.
Obligatory algorithmic contribution
In the first game against humans, couldnt you pitch cast sublety to protect the Atraxa?
Is with this type of master pieces that you remember us how brilliant you are and strategically challenging magic jaja, yet giving credit to the worked that inspired the new project
Thank you for the fun of a modern deck that at certain point works like a legacy! π¦β¨πΆ
We have a t-rex!
Return of the missed land drop!
Could you not flicker the Atraxa to get around the cathar, at 15:30?
A missed opportunity to do a Macho Man impression ever cream trigger! Haha.
Legendary league, thanks for playing this glorious deck!
27:37 one piece reference detected
Boshhhhh!!!
Thanks again for playing my deck!! This was an absolute blast to watch. The game against humans where we went bananas with Etali and cream of the crop is EXACTLY what I had in my mind when I sent in the suggestion.
Even if the play wasnβt perfect, the dinosaur memes were. And really, what more could I ask for?
But seriously, it means a lot that you take my whacky ideas into consideration, even the last minute ones haha. I still think youβre the best content creator on YouTube and I really look forward to the next one man πππ
Soooo standard in (edit:) modern with a splash of blue? cool π
Isn't this just a pioneer deck?
Round 4 game 2 was probably the best game of modern Ive ever seen. Usually not a fan of the format but etali into opponents dramatic entrance to put your own atraxa into play and then flicker everything a million times for infinite value was insane to watch
That last match round one was fantastic. Great seeing Brian doing some old fashioned combat math. The missed play wound up leading to a really entertaining game and also let the Dino-Storm element shine. Neat.
"Time to cream."
– Brian Coval, idk
The JP jokes were great. Made me crack up more than once.
Thanks to Cream of the Crop, this has to be the most sus episode I've seen yet
i LOVE cream of the crop, i've been playing it in a calibrated blast / domain zoo list for a few months now and it just always overperforms
Round 4 Game 2… Imagine trying to resolve this in paper
Ok I need a stipulation like this for every deck from now on.
I can not get over how nutty r4 g2 was vs amulet. If I counted correctly, you managed to get 4 Etali triggers, 3 atraxa triggers, and a prime time across 2 turns.
Absolutely barbaric lol
r4g1 you had another turn to survive, if you chumped with hooting you could've had another turn to draw goryo's. I also wanted to say, you're an incredible magic player.
