A former Houston letter carrier has been indicted by a grand jury, accused of stealing millions of dollars in checks that should have been delivered to Harris County mailboxes.

  2. The DA (Michael Levine) brags that culprits are being investigated. But non of those 5 indicted weren't arrested. These postal thefts crimes had been going on undeterred for years. It doesn't sound like they've done anything to stop this problem.

  3. It still cracks me up how these idiots never think they'll get caught. As a carrier for nearly 20 years, I can tell you that folk like this WILL get caught. The investigators bet on human nature; you may have done it once and got away with it, but you WILL do it again. Then, once you're discovered, they'll surveil you with high tech, hard to notice gear, that catches your every move. By the time you are arrested (usually on the workroom floor to embarrass the hell out of you,) they've stacked the case so high against you, a plea deal is your only option. Even then, why steal from the mail? As a worker, you are a customer also. Treat your customer's mail as you would want yours to be treated. Lastly, don't think that a fellow carrier won't snitch on a thief!! ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…
