But his single-mindedness for presidency roles made him overlook the importance of personal relationships.
His wake-up call was when he got feedback from a Georgia Tech senior who told him no one would work with him due to his rigidness and an unquenchable thirst for leadership roles.
Bill’s early mistakes led him to clarity.
Today, he insists that leadership is all about relationships.
