  1. You know it's going to be a good time when there is a pile of random parts in and around the car, lol that's red flag #1. But great job sticking with it and I'd love to see y'all tear that 302 apart and do a quick show and tell with the swiss cheese head gaskets.

  2. Great content, as always! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?

  3. So….the answer to the title of the video – "Will she run and drive 400 miles"? Well, sadly the poor old……f***ed……thing couldn't manage 4 feet, let alone the target it was set. I did think it moved 4 inches under it's own power though, so it did move…..a bit…..

Bugger! Bugger, blast and blow! Poo, bum, sh*t! ….and I think I'll leave the antipodean epithets there, I think. Colourful metaphors aside, I have been trying to think of something positive to say about the beast. Ah! The body doesn't look too bad on video…..and I will admit that the 1970 (strangely enough) is one of the only years of the Muzzy that I actually like and would want to own.

The love for the 71-73 picked up only after the 67-69 went through the roof, but unless it's a Boss or Mach1, you don't hear much of the 1970 model…..yet it's the only one with those horizontal eyelashes (or 'gills' if you prefer) to the side of the headlights……and THAT is what I like nost about them. It's different and they give the face a bit of style and panache that is missing in the later models. The '70 is also one of the only years that looks grouse in all three body styles. The fastback is stunning, the convertible looks meaningful and yet cruisy and the coupe can either be dressed up to look mean or given a vinyl roof and some extra chrome trim to hide the wolf in sheep's clothing. Me? I'm a convertible man. If I could, I'd go topless every day of the year…….er……um…..well, you know what I mean!

I reckon the way to make your money back on it -as it sits – is definitely to part it out. However, I'd say you've got at least one bad head gasket and that's what is causing 90% of the issues with the way its running (may also have a couple of burnt / stuck valves – an easy fix). My guess is you also checked the tranny fluid to make sure she's got some after running it for a bit? A running 302 is better than a non-running 302 and if you could do the head gaskets and if the trans was just low, a moving Muzzy with a half-decent body is a 'project' not a 'parts car'…. I still reckon you could get your money back on it even as she sits in one piece…but it would be a hard sell in today's market and would sell easier and for more if she moved or at least ran without pouring oily steam
from many places – including the radiator!

Hard luck, guys. I was rooting for you on this one. Pity it didn't pan out. You'll strike gold one day – just got to know when to take 'em rose-tinted spectacles off, eh. It's ok – I tend to wear them myself a lot when looking at classics I love and am looking to buy….but I've also walked away from some that would have bankrupted me had I not sat for five minutes on my own just staring at the car, mulling over all I had seen…..and it's amazing what you DO see when you're staring at a car for five minutes, quietly contemplating the costs of the stuff you know of and wondering about the stuff you haven't seen yet that will be necessary to get the car to the state you can turn it over for a profit.

Still a bloody good video to watch though – and I'm glad you're still doing them. All the best from here in New Zealand.
