Hi Mike & Bianca, we are from Toronto and we were in the Philippines last 2018 & 2019 and we visited Boracay, Cebu, Bohol, Davao and Palawan but not Iloilo and we are planning of going back again probably Feb 2023 and we love to visit Iloilo because of your vlog maybe you can give us some pointers on places to visit so we have some ideas of where to go.

I guarantee you, there are a lot of nice hotels in Iloilo city that are way more cheaper than this P4750/night, but I'm still glad you're satisfied with this setting, especially the fact that the pool is just in front of your room, it has balcony/terrace, and it is situated at the center of the city, that makes it worth the price.

  28. I believe the given rate is kinda high because the Agoda / Booking app algorithms adjust their given rates depending on how full the hotel or resort you're looking at is. Since, as you say in the video, the resort was almost fully booked because of the family reunion, you unfortunately had to pay more due to the bad timing. May have even ended up being a bit cheaper if you made a direct booking and mentioned you were YouTubers. Before the pandemic, I remember planning to book at the Urban Sands via the Agoda / Booking app, and I think rooms were going for only around P3k. But I was also booking a few weeks in advance and not last minute.

  29. That shower head was a mistake !!! Shout out to the Hotel owner ..do rectify the shower head height to American standards..not Asian standard….its not worth to have 4k plus per night having some awkward things as mentioned..in that room..
