  1. What people don't realize is this show is actually following NASA's original road map. Apollo was supposed to go through to 1992, Congress cut the funding at Apollo 20 & then again to 18. Oh & yes there was an Apollo 18 it was an "unacknowledged special access black budget" project. The Saturn V was assembled & launched from a remote South Pacific site, that doesn't exist of course. This show makes references to this with the Sea Dragon launches.

  2. Am I the only one who thinks that the NASA-Spaceship is way to small to accomudate all its astronauts, in a way in which they wont kill each other after two months?

  3. In real life, both NASA and SpaceX will have to work togheter in order to reach Mars. Not to mention Elon Musk not being the kind of guy who would leave people behind to their own just to be the first to land on the red planet.

  4. 🤔🤔🤔In my opinion the Sojourner is the worst ship for a long duration trip to Mars for one simple reason: Gravity. She undoubtedly has a bold and modern design; but in this Universe; where there is a greater knowledge of Human Beings in Space (At least 40 years more than in our Universe); Scientists should be more aware of the dangers that the lack of gravity causes in the body (loss of muscle and bone mass and weakening of the Immune System, for example); and this knowledge should be utilized in the construction of Long Duration Mission Ships in Deep Space. In my opinion the best ship is the Phoenix; which is capable of generating 1G; besides being formally a Space Hotel; so comfort is not lacking. Even the Russians' Mars 94 must be better prepared; because as it was based on Discovery One from 2001 (Just kidding 😁😁😁); its spherical shape of the Housing just like Discovery One should have a gravitational centrifuge that should gear between 1-100% of the earth's gravity (1G); which makes the Cosmonauts' Organism not suffer so much from the lack of gravity. NASA Scientists should be aware of the effects of lack of Gravity on the Astronaut Organism and should better design Soujourner for a better Deep Space mission; with an External Gravity Centrifuge (like the Phoenix) or Internal (possibly like the Discovery One; I mean; Mars 94). What do you think?

  5. a reusable exposed heat shield on the US vehicle….not sure that would fly…..additionally, landing and taking off from the moon is probably a regolith dust nightmare for that vehicle with its doors…
