  1. FUN FACT: Me and the girls at my regular Starbucks are good friends, and the one day I walked in and told them I was going to try something different from my usual. The girl at the counter paused, beckoned me closer, and when we were both leaning over the counter she outright tells me "Dont order the new drinks. The oleato stuff? Its awful. Its been upsetting peoples stomachs and it isn't good."
    Needless to say, don't get it, bc if the people that work there are risking their jobs to warn you away then there's probably a reason

  2. Put a small amount of butter in your coffee if you want fats or some smooth taste in your coffee. It's dairy in another form. Unless you can properly emulsify the oil, this is a stupid idea. Eat a fucking salad or put it on toast if you want the health benefits.

  3. When Starbucks announced this the CEO said that he got the idea from coffee shops in Italy and they've already been doing this. I promptly went to google to see if this was a thing. I can't find ANYTHING that says this is or ever has been a thing.

  4. The olive oil situation is like a fever dream. It's as if Oleo bought out the company and is now using it to push its products at the detriment of the store.
