  1. So I’m just saying this before watching the video but omg the video is out yay

Edit: so just finished the video and I love the theories you came up with. I’ve seen ppl say Neuvilette (?) is a Vishap or Hydro dragon, but not that he’s also from what remains of the previous archon. Do you think that the fact that Lyney, Lynette and Ferminet are three siblings has anything to do with the fact that Fontaine basically has 3 rulers or the place the opera is, is named after 3 sisters?

  2. After revisiting past videos and nahidas story I’m inclined to believe that each archon is born that’s related to there element or was created by a higher being I simply don’t think that it’s possible for the people of Fountaine to create furina yes tge or of Sumeru we’re close to creating a God but it was honestly really easy for them scara already have godly power by being created by ei plus he already had a physical body, which means that the hard part has already been done if ei and mokoto represent thunder and lightning and nahida and ruhkkadahvata representing a growing tree then it’s possible the hydro archon created furina awhile ago I feel like it’s possible that the hydro archon knew one day she would die so she created a verson of her self so the people wouldn’t fear her death knowing another god like her will rule I think folcilore was once like the og archon but possibly during the Cataclysm she got corrupted with abyssal power that’s one theory of mind

My second theory is about the previous Hydro Archon, and what her demon name is and I think it’s fornius and I also think her name is egeria the reason why I think her demon name is fornius is because both folcilore and fornius in mythology were both angels of heaven but were banished to become fallen angels so this may confirm just possibly that both furina and fornius existed before the Cataclysm and fornius in the lesser key of Solomon, took the form of a sea monster, and we also see a shadow. We silhouette of a well take being in the background of the overture teaser if I had to theorize, I think that the previous Hydro archon was from celestia and fought in the archon war to help the people or be tasked with purifying teyvat it’s even possible she at one point met the oceanides and they acknowledged her of being a higher being so they works for her or she protected them from something it could be either way she most likely created the first flood in Fountaine to drown the other remaining gods with her own waters it was also said in the game that she ordered the lock folk to go across teyvat as spy’s so she can connect the world through water. It could also be another way that Celestia can’t keep track of teyvat and if she is the knight gnosis “ which idea is she is” the knights are usually loyal to the king and take orders from them if Celestia is king, which they most likely are then it wouldn’t be a surprise that the previous and the current Hydro Archons don’t disobey them or prais them especially since the Hydro statue of the seven is the first statue with a weapon, so that kind of confirms that she’s the knight since the statues don’t only reflect the original Archons but also the gnosis chess peice

Also I would just like to say that I saw a interesting theory on ashikais channel that says that the gnosis are kings of there own nation but our other chess pieces in the world of teyvat which actually makes so much more sense since mokotos piece has the shogun head piece and they’re not only known as soldiers but also rulers as well so each nation is most likely going to have a sort of crown that reflects a ruler or a king in the nations respective cultures but also share similarities in pieces

Also I do not think that neuvillette is the archon mostly because all the Archons eyes represent the element colore but nuevillette is more of a purple light red plus his eyes resemble too much of zhonglis dragon eyes so it’s possible he might be a dragon of some sort there’s no doubt that I’m not having a vision and the fact that he looks similar to furina is definitely something, but yet again, it could just be because he’s the chief justice and that he would commonly have the same color scheme as the Archon, but I could be wrong plus neuvillette doesn’t have gradient hair. He does have some blue strains, but that wouldn’t count as furina has the gradient hair

  3. Lol maybe that researcher is alive and controlling those robbotics or the Archon is looking for someone who can solve the prophecy then give the gnosis as reward 😅

  4. As I said before, I don't really comment on videos, but you make me feel comfortable in doing so…

  5. There’s one shop I noticed called Chioriya Boutique shown at 13:57 in the Special Program. I think it’s probably Chiori’s fashion label mentioned by Kirara. Unfortunately the Japanese special program uses a different gameplay clip for that section that’s not in the same place, so I can’t compare the kanji to Chiori’s name, however, the -ya suffix in Japanese (屋 with this kanji) basically means “shop” and is used in the names of types of stores. So a bakery is a “panya”, a bread shop.

  6. The theory and lore videos are significantly better than Genshins actual story. Because the writers are so afraid to offend anyone and hold to a PG rating system and because of the obviously nonsensical nature of humanism or Satanism that is it's core; the story of Genshin is so bland and idiotic that it is almost unberable to even listen to or read. It's actually assinine.
Like the transitioning of Raiden from a ruthless ideologue dictator into a fish out of water infantile moron. Anytime the story even begins to touch on adult themes it seems to realize it before cresendo and retreat into baby town froliks or barney the dinosaur type drivel.
I realize content creators see Genshin as a cash cow and maybe you are right but I can't help but to see your talents wasted on such a pathetic source.

  7. If Focalor is born after the death of the previous hydro archon, doesn't it make her the same age as Nahida. This contradicts what Ganyu said that Nahida is the youngest one (born directly after cataclysm). There is also possibility that Focalor has always been around during the previous archon and only ascended after her death. This is kinda the same way that happens with Ei and Makoto.

  8. I found out that the names of Lyney’s props, the Grin-malkin Hat and Grin-malkin Cat, is a portmanteau of the words “grin” and “grimalkin”. Grin is exactly what it sounds like but grimalkin I learned is both an archaic term for a cat but is also the name of a Scottish cat faery. The cat in his props is smiling, but I also think the grin is in reference to the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland, which I think is pretty fitting considering contemporary Fontaine’s (as opposed to ancient Fontaine) influences are mostly from France and from the British Isles. There’s also the fact that the Cheshire cat has the ability to disappear, which suits a magician.

  9. Wow thanks for the great fontaine analysis video you clearly put a lot of work into it, also the theory about Neuvillete and furina is artificial and comes from the same source is interesting but im more inclined to the popular theory that Neuvillete is a vishap people or one of the decendants of hydro dragon sovereign and thats the reason why Neuvillete is seems equal to the archon also explains the trait similiarities Neuvillete has to a bathysmal vishap.

  10. Awesome job! I’m glad you didn’t give up on the video even after that big computer mishap. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into every last detail! It makes things a lot clearer for me! See you in the nation of Justice!!

  11. Very fun and comprehensive video!!! Glad it was worth it.
For the pneuma ousia mechanic, i am extremely worried for spiral abyss. I'm not sure how important the gameplay mechanic is when fighting Fontaine enemies, and whether we're forced to pull for/bring Fontaine characters just to clear the abyss.

  12. 31:05 I copied this comment from someone in Marcomeatball's video for the trailer:
"The stage magic & automations combination seems to be connected to Jean-Eugene Robert Houdin, the Father of Modern Magic (and who Houdini named himself after), who was also a watchmaker that used automatons in his magic! He also converted part of the Palais Royal into his own magic theatre.

Arlecchino's line in the Overture trailer about stage magicians being actors is very likely a reference to Robert Houdin's adage of "stage magicians are actors who play the role of stage magicians". It's a VERY Inside Professional Magician thing to say, which makes me think that either someone in Hoyoverse is a professional magician or they went super deep with their research."

I think you should give Marco's video a watch since he used to be a professional Opera singer and knows quite a bit about these kind of topics since it's related to his homeland.

Arlecchino certainly has some kind of connections with the twins, I can't wait for her appearance in game.

  13. Great video!
I wrote crazy long comment pointing out all things I see as inaccuracies, then closed the tab without posting it. Yay me.
Bits and pieces out of memory, the clocks look like the clock we use to set time, meaning they're showing 6 AM and 5 AM respectively. Maybe they'll even be telling time throughout the day?
Neuvillette might be one of snake people like Tsumi we met in Enkanomiya event. Also his lack of vision is disturbing. I hope he won't follow Signora's example.
That "dissolving guilty into water" thing sounds strange, haven't we meet a person found guilty in one of past events?
And also I'd like to remind you that Hoyo likes to mess with us in these trailers, pulling quotes and clips out of context and building something with them that sounds dramatic yet does not spoil the story. I'm pretty sure this trailer is no exception.

  14. For Neuviellette not having a vision I have 3 hypothesis. I'll go from the one i like the least/unlikely to the one i like the most.
-he is a vishap, so he don't need vision to use elemental power but that would be weird since adeptus still have vision (xiao)
-he will die/sacrifice himself to save Fontaine (sorry for people who want him)
-he will get a vision during the Archon quest.
    That my take on that.
On the boring side, the devs just didn't show it on purpose for whatever reason.

As for the …scale thing that make jugements (for simplicity) maybe there is an oceanide ''trap'' inside and that why it seems it as a consciousness

  15. Just to put a simple wonder, what if Neuvillette has a vision, but because he is the court/opera epclesi, he can't be in possession of his vision, just like Liney, Lynette and childe.
I believe, for now, that he is a Oceanid or related to them, since he may not need a vision to manipulate the element Hydro.

  16. Glad to know I am not the only one who interpreted that the mysterious connection was between Childe and Chlorind (hope that is her name) and not between Chlorind and Nadia. I thought I was mistaken.

  17. I wonder if Lyney is the actual Famous Thief of Fontaine and the NPC we found Dead in a Praying position in that one Traveller Story Quest is an imitation.

Maybe Neuvillette has his vision on his front, since we only saw his front while he was in the Court and as far as I've seen, Childe doesn't even has his vision while he was in the court. The other time we saw him was from the back open world, and no vision so it's possible he has it on his front, or he is just the Hydro Dragon Sovereign lol.

  18. I do agree that Focalors is likely artificial, but not Neuvillette. I'm going to have to agree with the Vishap theory on this one.

Its worth noting that the blue in Neuvillette's hair isn't actually hair, it's his horns. You can vaguely tell in the videos that his horns don't exactly match the texture of the rest of his hair, and while they seem to bounce, they look like a solid structure. He also has this geometric type of design on near the bottom that wouldn't appear on hair.

This in combination with his eyes, points to a pretty clear conclusion at least to me, especially since he's not seen with a vision. Vishaps can use elemental powers.

I personally believe that Neuvillette likely served under the original hydro archon before Furina, and that may be another factor why Neuvillette seems to garner a higher level of respect in Fontaine. To add onto this, I believe that the elements on his clothes aren't a similarity with Furina, but rather with the dead archon.

Neuvillette has ornaments hanging from the clothes on his chest that look like the oratrice, and assuming the dead archon's consciousness powers the oractice, it makes a pretty interesting connection between the two.

I'd also like to bring up that it's likely that Fontaine was artificially raised from the flood, the issue of the great flood doesn't seem to have actually resolved itself which makes me think that they couldn't exactly find a way to stop it. As for how it was raised, I'm not sure, but throughout the trailers the fact that fontaine is strangely at a higher altitude is brought up multiple times. It feels like a strange detail to emphasize…. especially considering Mihoyo is known for emphasizing details that are important later.

    Anyways, love the video 😀
I find that you're the best theorist when it comes to noticing small details. Great video.
