Hi Julia. It's great to see you again. I always love seeing your videos. I think your stitching is lovely. I am very much of the mind that stitching the way you want is the way to go. If you're not happy with what you are stitching then why bother? I would enjoy watching a video of you going through your stash to decide what you are still interested in stitching and what you are not. I look forward to seeing your next video!!
Absolutely stellar to catch up with you – I’ve been out of the loop a LONG while. I think your Flower Garden series would be amazing as a quilt. I’ll vote for that – maybe with some repro 1920s-30s fabrics? It’d be gorgeous. I agree with you about silks. They are kind of more an experience thing but they sure are nice to work with. I completely understand your reticence about getting back to your Bailey cardigan. Maybe it’d be a thing you could felt and donate to an animal shelter in memory of Andre? I’m not sure I could go back to work on it so I empathize with what you’re feeling with that one. Hope all is well with you and your family. Would A like the Changeling book I mentioned in my podcast? I’d love to send her my copy if you think she’d enjoy it. 💖
So sorry you have had Covid. I too would enjoy watching you go thought your stash to make decisions to keep or not. So excited to have have won your threads, thank you.
