  1. I completely disagree with you. A mind and body will respond to rest. Look at what cousins overcame last year. He didn’t lose that playoff game, the defense did. Kirk over came the worst defense in the NFL to win 13 games. Let that sink in. He could have studied film 24 7 and not helped win anymore games wire that defense.

  2. “And on the seventh day he rested.” kirk cousins is an observant Christian, who cannot rest on Sunday because of football. So he takes off Tuesdays instead for religious observation.

  3. You chastise Cousins for taking Tuesday's off but he feels he needs that to be his best on Sunday and who are you to question that. The way you talk about Brady it is as though you think he won 7 championships. HE never won any, he played for 7 championship teams. He played with 17 top 10 defenses which is more than twice as many as any other quarterback in NFL history and I believe that he had the most top 5 ranked defenses in history as well. He played for perhaps the greatest coach to ever lead a team. He played in a weak division every season of his career except one and that season the Patriots did not make the playoffs. He has played behind many, many top 10 and top 5 rated offensive lines. The Patriots defense and lack of fumbles led to by an enormous amount the greatest turnover ratio that any quarterback ever enjoyed.

Cousins has not had great coaches most of his career, he has had mostly poor defenses and nearly all his offensive lines were poor. From 2018 to 2021 only one NFL team had their offensive lines ranked 25th or worse each season, yes the Vikings. The REAL GOAT scoring system created to evaluate quarterback's careers by first comparing them to the average quarterback of their era and then to the all time greats has Cousins with a 524 average season score. Just for some reference the average quarterback scores 267 which is just a few points lower than Troy Aikman. Terry Bradshaw scores a 398 and Bart Starr a 364. A score of 400 makes you a legit Hall of Famer after the longevity multiplier. This is not all based on the quarterback's play as they are awarded points that they did not earn because of team accomplishments. Even with all the championship teams that Brady played for he is 13th among quarterbacks whose careers started after 1947 with a 594. If you take out the points scored for him by his teammates and coaches then tom is battling Warren moon and philip Rivers for 16-18th place. Manning scores 702 and Staubach has the best average season score of all time with a 753 but is not the GOAT because of longevity. Interesting isn't it. let me know if you want to learn more. Football is a TEAM game.

  4. Kirk's mental preparation (x's and o's) isn't the problem. The guy thinks too much not too little. Getting time away helps keep him from pressing and making bad decisions, which he's been prone to do.

  5. Burrow will never do it because he knows he'll bomb and never ever stand up to the standard Mahomes set. Burrow will spend his career kneeling to Mahomes. And no one wants to see Russell Wilson. He probably won't even finish the season.

  6. I’m just amazed at the details these qbs have to go through on a second to second basis. Risking your life, still have to remember 100s of combinations of play calls, and how they look like, repeat the plays out to the team and be set all in a 40 second window, and if you don’t even have the talent to do it, then you can’t become a qb. Qbs take almost 100+ hits a year and a quarter to a half of them are good shots so you have to crave that pain to stay on the field. That’s why you can’t just say “oh a qb is injury prone and can’t stay on the field” yeah because some can grit out the hits while others can’t. It’d be nice to have a positional season where one of every position is showcased to compare the workloads each position takes on.

  7. You lost me brother you should be praising Kirk cousins for the hard worker that he is in the good family man that he is he's one hundred percent genuine and I'm glad he's our quarterback

  8. Normalize taking a fucking day off. Shouldn't even have to say that. Do you really expect any self-respecting human to work seven days a week (with TONS more hours put in than most jobs) for a minimum of 18 weeks straight? Thats ridiculous

  9. The guy histoically plays terribly when the game is not at 12pm. He clearly has a mental hurdle and a day off the week doesnt seem to help. Do what makes you happy and your family happy by all means. You know what the football life means going into it. You have such a shot time to play. If your not devoted your not going to be great. Im glad he is good and happy just making a bag and being just "good" but i wouldnt want a qb running my team who is fine with just being good.

  10. You will always hate Kirk Cousins – your comments provide zero value! Kirk works his ass off, got punished behind a weak O’Line and played on a team that could not run and had a horrid defense. They would have struggled to win seven games without him! GIVE ME A BREAK!

  11. There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking a day during the week to rest the mind and body. I really don't understand why you always hate on Cousins?? Sounds personal. Did he not invite you to Pizza Ranch or something Florio?

  12. Dudes like Carr and Cousins want the family and church. (Note they ain’t give all the money to the church) Cool. But I want my QB to want rings. Go be a minister. We paying you to help us win SBs.

  13. You’re a hater plain and simple. You literally spoke negatively about him after the colts game last year, you’re opinion is irrelevant which is why this has 17k views only . Look at Kirk and josh Allen’s stats side by side and then look at the fact that Kirk has had bad defenses and last year the Vikings defense was 31st
