Checked out Wynwood Walls before driving down to Islamorada Key. We had a blast at Cheeca Lodge exploring, lounging, fishing, reading poolside and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Headed down to Key West for a day and toured Hemmingway’s house, strolled the town and had dinner on the beach.
Took bikes out to explore and discovered a number of great spots including fan favorites Florida Keys Brewery, Halfway Cafe and Bob’s Bunz.
On our last day, we found an animal oasis at the docks that was teeming with tarpon, a considerable number of manatees, a family of sharks, and one lonely squid.
We also might have accidentally wandered onto the site where the Netflix series Bloodline was filmed. A beautiful, magical & serene setting that is quintessential Keys.
On our way back to Miami International Airport, we took a slight detour to explore Everglades Outpost & Robert Is Here… both odd and enjoyable in a swampy Florida kind of way.
