This week on OFFGRID, Graham and the convoy are heading North on their way from Esperance to Darwin via the legendary 620KM long Oodnadatta Track. It’s early in the season, and the crew are travelling ahead of the crowds and cool weather of the winter months; but that comes with its own risks.
A late wet season rain obliterates the north end of the track, turning roads into rivers and making for wild conditions. The crew fights road closures, deep crossings and muddy bypasses and as they try to push through to one of Australia’s remotest pubs, the Mt Dare Hotel.
When and where is your next adventure? Tell us about it and spare no detail!

I use at Stradbroke a yabbie pump
I'd take the 79 just because we don't have them in the US. Over here though the Ranger would be easier for parts so Ranger it is.
Missed so much of what there is to see on the Oodnadatta
$2.95 per litre is rough
Out in the middle nowhere and youre wearing seatbelts. Thats like driving by yourself and wearing a mask.
Has the next video part two been posted yet?
❤
Should have came to nhunbuy
Uno what would be great in the roo stew? Is our Australian(WA) grown and made dehydrated mushrooms or mushroom powder :-), our 25.1 powder takes 25kg to make 1kg of powder, so handy when backpacking, camping and going offroad.
Correction for Steph. Antarctica is the driest continent on earth, not Australia.
When thought to the simo right before the rain hit and closed the track last year
i love agood oxtail stew here in africa but your roo stew looks amazing
Graham must be permanently coated with a thin layer of bearing grease the way he smoothly ducks awkward situations.
An honor to watch you work sir
Where do I get the Off-Grid stickers from please
Took me 3 goes to watch this, kept falling asleep. Not because it's boring, (it's not) but I'm a shift worker. Every time I went to watch it, night shift said "and sleep"
The ultimate video good job guys 👍🏼
Global warming global warming global warming global warming!!!!!!
Much prefer this, rather than the smash and bash and pointless touring Shuano and crew put out.
I am afghani big fan of your 4w driving video👌
Yabbies. Boiled spud and you'll soon be sick of eatin' the buggers!😉
Yabbies are vegetarian

Bought an ibex 19 with a Murphy bed dual axel solid frame. Nice little camper for off grid
I read, "Heritage of the Oodnadatta Track" by Peter Bell. Quite interesting. It's online somewhere as a pdf.
Beautiful 🎉
13:40 id rather have box wine, more to drink 😂
The dingo fence is actually the longest construction in the world
I hope it was fresh road kill
I think your bait needs to be smelly. Your Yabbies there and my Crawdads here, search by scent in the muddy water. In clear water, they will grab almost anything. We used tin foil on a string when I was a kid. Thanks for the fun video!
Nice vid but NOT flooded for 200km 🤷♂️
City people 😂
Can't believe that track was open
ey5yewyee
ham and cheese sandwhitch works well in your pots ..
Seems you spend alot of time keeping Flys at bay?
Oh man, imagine the caravans having power of their own with axial flux motors in each wheel. Not needing too much power or large batteries. Just having the power to get moving out of tight situations, short burst of torque at low rpm.
Port Augusta was turned into the ocean in the driest state and is zoned arid
How does the upright fridge compare to the chest fridge/freezer?
I have never made or heard of apple crumble with shortbread topping
What on earth is he/they doing on that track?
