  2. I think I’m the only one who loves your dark hair. You are beautiful with any hair color. How did you find an apartment with a gas stove? I’ve been apartment hunting in the SW Denver area. I will be coming from another state. I can’t wait to move to Colorado! But I also get a lot of anxiety about a big change.

  9. Beautician here! Your hair was fairly dark so I think the amount of lightness you got from your first round of highlights was actually a really good amount and looks VERY nice! I'll bet after the second round it'll be even better! You look amazing ❤

  14. From memory I think you said the original dark colour was not permanent?? It should wash out?? Non-permanent colour is the hardest to remove as it “stains” in the blonde. It NEVER washes out, because it looked soooo solid dark my guess they may have filled it first or coloured twice to get the level? In that case, it isn’t easy to remove. Your original hairdresser was sh*t (sorry) they should have made you aware it won’t be easy to remove. And the dark colour was not that flattering… so many other options to add depth to the hair for a change. I can assure you if you go back in 10 days to further try and lighten it you will regret it. You’ll need to cut it shorter…. I was a colour technician for years

  20. I have really fine hair and anytime I’d add color then lift it, took forever to get the dye back out. I think the darker browns really stick especially in fine hair. I think your hair looked great though, but know that feeling when it’s not quite what you’re going for. It was great of your stylist to be so honest and work to get you where you wanted.

Thanks for the recommendations I’ll try “This is Us” and “The Handmaids Tale” because it looks like we have the same taste in shows. Gossip girl and Dexter are my favs!   35. Hair is complicated. Please be careful. It is basically a chemistry equation. You combined a darker color with a lighter one. It will be in- between the two.
    If you over process your hair, you will lose hair. I would advise you to wait longer than 10 days for a second effort.
    Oprah Winfrey can tell you that things can go wrong.
    Please, wait until next month.
    The hairdresser is not a magician, but she makes money off of you.
    The hair looks fine for now. Please have patience. Dyeing hair is a tricky business . It isn't a one step procedure.

  41. Hey Julia, my mom discovered hunHungry Root in November 2023 and we got it ur first box 12/8/23. I had never heard of them before then. If you get a Hungry Root box that has the corn & wheat blend tortillas please show that. On the piece of paper it just said Corn & Wheat tortillas. We ended up not using them for their designated meal (I don’t think) and I used them for egg wraps at lunch. I’m still thinking about them lol

  42. Just so odd that folks think by showing a stylist a pic of what they like, the stylist should be able to exactly duplicate it. It’s genetics and chemistry so of course it may not match. Good luck with your goal setting.
