Part 2! (Our apologies for the delay this week as Kyra was attending the film festival Sitges in Spain for her movie Living With Chucky.) This week Kyra and Tony continue to discuss Return of the Living Dead – diving deeper into Tony’s work on the half corpse zombie. They discuss the time Tony thought he accidentally killed James Karen and what it was like to witness sprinting zombies for the first time on set. They also discuss how Tony’s mom (Kyra’s grandmother) got to see one of the very first cuts of the movie, and how it changed shape and tone after production on the editing floor. Tony lets us in on the heartwarming longevity of the friendships formed in the making of the movie that still last today.
