Fleet Expansion: Tata-Owned Air India To Induct One New Aircraft Every 6 Days For 18 Months



Tata-owned airline Air India is on a fleet expansion spree as it plans to induct one new aircraft every 6 days. The aircraft stream is set to continue for a period of 18 months.

The airline has ordered 470 aircraft, said Air India CEO Campbell Wilson. The new aircraft will be put on international flights and the restoration of planes that are grounded will also continue, added Wilson.

  1. Also u spoke about 470 aircrafts u miss the imp point they have option to choose and comfirme another 370 with both air bus and boeing at later date with semaless delivery by 2026 to decide once boeing launches 777 -10 so totla is 840 and not 470 470 is comfirmed 370 will comfired latter
