Thank you for replacing the valley hose that is under the Supercharger..
why not upgrade the piping underneath the supercharger with aluminium, steel or silicone pipes/tubs !?
DriveTribe is the best
Thanks for the great content guys
I'd keep the insulation underneath the supercharger. It'll help keep those coolant pipes last just a bit longer
If you really want to rub it in with Alex, crush his figures with a German car too. He loves to tell us how he's German and prefers their cars.
These vids aren't long enough. thoroughly enjoying them
Loving this a
Loving the Jaaag story, but what happened to the ST220? Last video suggested it was at the smallest cog with a lunched engine courtesy of a blocked oil pickup pipe
This episode should have been called "Project Jaaaag Ep.4 – Battle of the Accents". I love it!
This is such a awesome project!! XKR getting some love! Keep it going man!! Keep it going!!!
I'd put an ls at that point.
Timming chain guides failer is crazy common on bmws too
I really like that you are restoring the Jaaaaaagggg.
But it really rubs me that with this kind of money thrown around, that you didn't remove the engine from the car, disassemble it, de-rust it at least – and THEN put it back in the chassie.
This rusty engine with the brand-new components looks like an old donkey with a new pair of shoes …
I'm still upset over the BMW! I know its a show! But, what a gem it was!
Please, please, please quit calling fexible pipes, "PIPES"! They are hoses! Rigid tubing is called pipes!🙄
Just as long as the garage doesn’t employ anyone with the title “Exalted Cyclops” I wouldn’t panic. Yet. 😆😆😆
Cheers mates! 🖖😎👍
show more of the car……..and stop all these fancy jump cut edits when showing the mechanicals of the car – this is not an advert, we are here to see the car being actually worked upon and not some snazzy video editing skills
Isn't it amazing how cheap these repairs are with product placement…
Hey Mike, can I get some of those free ignition coils for my 2011 XJL? These things cost $180 EACH. It's no wonder Jags have a reputation for being fragile; owners don't want to pay $4,000 for a standard top end tune-up. And $6,200 to replace the timing chain guides that fail and destroy the engine after 40k miles.
Where’s the Benz?
So glad the collab is coming !
I would say AutoAlex has the best Jag
a Brexit engine before Brexit
TBH if Sarah-n-Tuned had posted this then I would watch it.
Don't forget to get them to do a full engine rebuild and then thrash it on a track with zero running in. Also, get them to do a full respray in 24 hours and then pretend it's perfect.
Thought the power was down due to the torque converter in the auto box?
8:05 Nope what? The car is not structurally damaged, it is safe when repaired.
The XKR is a Beautiful Car much love to the channel and I’m glad that this jag is getting another chance to drive . A Manual conversion was always something that fascinated me as a kid when these were first released to the public. Now that I’m grown I can’t wait to have one so I can do the same 😅
I’m curious to know now since Ford did have a percentage owning Jag
If the 4.6 motor out of the mustang/crown Vic were the same motor used in Jaguar cars , if so then I need that S/C 😂😂
Lol it wasn't on fire, relax.
Homeboy went to a sauna and "literally caught on fire"
Boiled water so long that it "literally caught on fire"
Been around cars as long as he has and can't wrap his mind around the fact that engines get hot
I wonder how many times he thinks the engine caught on fire this episode
Looking forward to the collab with AutoAlex!
17:40, swallows
Love how Vehicle Virgins is bashing the Drive Tribe crowd. Go Alex!
loving the filming on this one! the panning and time lapse combo is magical to watch!
Thanks for the shoutout guys, we hope the parts came in handy! 🤩
Maybe wrap the hoses under super charger with a heat barrier?
450bhp boom drop the mic on the others aha nice build!!
