Steps to Fix New World Crash on Startup, Crash to Desktop (CTD) Black Screen, Low FPS, Fix New World Not Launching, Fix New World Crashing on Windows 11 & 10 PC
Step 1) Close the game, restart your PC and launch the game
Step 2) Make sure your HDD or SSD has enough space
Step 3) Disconnect second monitor
Step 4) Uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6
Step 5) Disable overlay and close all the overlay apps, also close all the overclocking apps, perform clean boot and close all the background application
Step 5) Do a clean installation of Graphics card driver

Step 6) Increase the virtual memory
Initial size is one and a half (1.5) x the amount of total system memory. Maximum size is three (3) x the initial size. So, in this system we have 8 GB (1 GB = 1,024 MB x 8 = 8192 MB) of memory. The initial size would be 1.5 x 8192 = 12288 MB and the maximum size would be 3 x 12288= 36864 MB.
Step 7) Update Windows
Step 8) Install Visual C++ Files- https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
Step 9) Verify the game files
Step 10) Laptop users with dual graphics card: Run the game on dedicated graphics card
Step 11) Allow the game to Antivirus program and Windows Security
Step 12) Run the game as an administrator, launch the game from game installation folder
Step 13) Try Windowed mode, turn off v sync and lower down graphics settings
Step 14) Uninstall the game, delete the game files, restart your PC and reinstall the game

thanks i will try. i was waitnign in quene 5h and after ~15min i got freeze. in beta i had this same issue ;/
If you have to do all this to play a game the game isn't worth playing especially from a multi-billion dollar company.
Sadly none of these are working, Im convinced New World isn't compatible with GTX 1080s. The only thing that freezes is New World, and it's always abrupt and sporadic ð Thank you for the video regardless

Yeah mine runs fine for maybe 1 hr, then out of no where it just freezes, sometimes in town, sometimes in combat. Done majority of the above and still happens, it's insane that some users never freeze but others have endless issues. This is why pc gaming sux compared to console, even though pc has other benefits, this for me makes pc gaming pointless and impossible to pinpoint real reason for freezing/crashing

nothing work for me, i did everything, my game stops on the 2 circle with a square in the midle (after the "new world" logo)

Eh, you have a mistake in you memory math. If the initial memory is 8192 and the maximum size is 3x the initial, that would be 8192×3=24 572. What you calculated was 8192×1.5×3 which is 4.5 of the initial size.
ridiculous game, 2 hours waiting in line to play, start playing doesn't give half an hour freezes the game.
