  1. I did like the movie a lot. As a fan it was great to see the movie work in a way where it does fit Within the game lore while staying as true as it can be to the games. But the thing that made it fall flat is just its staying true to a game that had a convoluted story so the story wouldn't make sense if you didnt go through the first 4-5 games.

  2. Foxy was by far the scariest in the movie. The one scene that was terrifying was when Foxy was standing in the hallway. That jumpscare also got me when Foxy killed Jeff. The opening scene was also very creepy. But I absolutely enjoyed the FNAF Movie. We've waited 8 years for this movie. Thank you Blumhouse and Scott Cawthon!!

  3. My dad have seen some fnaf gameplay and when he saw this, he liked it and the story. The movie made it easy for my dad to understand what's going on even though he doesn't have the full backstory.

  4. I’ve never played the game and I watched the movie cuz my dad and my younger sister was gonna watch it and surprisingly I liked it, I looked up when it was announced to see how old I was when it was first announced, since it was April 2015, I was still in 4th grade but was almost done and I was 9 since my birthday is in the summer

  5. Five Nights at Freddy's Movie Review. My opinion btw

    Good things:

The production design and animatronics are excellent. The restaurant and the animatronics look just like they do in the video games.

The movie is suspenseful and scary. It does a good job of building tension and atmosphere.

The acting is good. The cast members give believable performances, especially Hutcherson as the security guard, Mike Schmidt.

    Bad things:

The plot is convoluted and doesn't make a lot of sense.

The movie is full of jump scares, which can be effective at first, but they get old after a while.

The characters are underdeveloped and not very likable.

Why it is a good movie:

Despite its flaws, the Five Nights at Freddy's movie is a good movie for fans of the video games. It is a well-made and suspenseful horror film with excellent production design and animatronics.

    Overall rating: 7/10

Recommended for: Fans of the Five Nights at Freddy's video games and fans of horror films in general.

  6. Glad I stayed home & watched it on Peacock. Happy for the fans of the franchise that enjoyed the movie. For me it was pretty boring. I almost fell asleep watching it. I was expecting a movie about killer animatronics & a guy watching monitors & seeing creepy stuff happen & trying to figure out a what is going on. Instead we got a drama about a custody battle & a bunch of pretty boring dialogue sequences & a scene where the animatronics build a fort with a kid.

  7. I never played the game and had no idea what Freddy was about.. so i went in blind. The movie was genuinely bad. Nicolas Cage in Willy's Wonderful was better, and that wasnt special either .
