This is a 1966 Mercury Montclair that’s been abandoned in a barn for 26 years. The Mercury has a great story and was owned by Emmy Award Winning Screenwriter John Vlahos. A kind viewer of the channel recently bought the property and asked me to save the Mercury from the crusher. The collection of acorns in the barn was a sign of what’s to come as I found the largest mouse nest I’ve ever seen during the detail. One of the most challenging and intensive clean-ups for sure but all worth it to donate the Mercury to a generous subscriber. The big reveal at the end was amazing and was very special to save this vehicle. Enjoy the episode and thanks for all the support! – L

My dad owned a 66 Montclair. Bringing it back to life brought back a flood of memories. Thank you.
Great job and great save for a worthy new owner! Just a small fact check. The emergency flasher switch in the glove compartment was a factory standard item on Montclair. (Not aftermarket) My dad’s ‘67 Ford F-100 pickup which be bought new and we still own has one just like it in the same location. Thanks for sharing these fascinating renewals.
So great. Passion of my youth at Ferrari HTX. So Cool to see these salvages! ❤️
Would love to see how the new owner restored the car and put it back on the road

Worms come out of the acorns. I’ll gather acorns. Put them in a bucket with sand. Worms come out and I use them for fishing 👍🏼
The guy he gave her to is the kindest gentleman I’ve ever seen. What a worthy heir to that vehicle!

Cars actually in very, very good shape, so it wouldn't have taken much to clean up, couple of teenagers could have cleaned it up, just rubbing compound rags, then wax it.
Engine turned!! Awesome!!
I like the alien 😂❤
You hopefully gave a new life to that car.. would be nice to see a follow up. But have to say, you do magical stuff to the cars that fall under your care. Greetings from Lapland^^
