  1. 26:39 My man, you have no idea how right you are! At the time of when the internet was still young and slow and Summer blockbuster movies were at its prime, there wasn’t ANYTHING quite like “The Matrix” at that time. It blew people’s minds back then! The best and first of what a live action Anime would be like!

  2. Dude you closed your eyes through so many epic shots in this movie !!! Like the very end of the high synergy shoot out right before they get on the elevator
And at the very end when you say what was that! Your eyes were closed lololol

  3. Lets not forget that the stunt double of Keanu in the matrix trilogy IS the creator of the John Wick franchise the legendary MR CHAD STAHELSKI ..

And the matrix behind the scenes is awesome.. The legendary Master Yuen Woo Ping and his team introduction to hollywood American movie cinema.. Thats why the action scenes are top notch for this time cause of that 1 man Master Yuen Woo Ping, who also helped on the Kill Bill franchise with Tarintino also..

  4. 5 films not 3. The ANIMATRIX is great, short stories, different animators, different feels, for different reasons. All canon.

the machines ,the original idea was to have the humans being used as processors in an immense computing array, but somebody {some executive} thought that this idea was too complex for most moviegoers to grasp, so they changed to Duracell batteries.

  5. A recommendation from me is V for Vendetta, it has the same writers that wrote the Matrix, plus has Hugo Weaving in it also. Also it is tied to Guy Fawkes and bonfire night so it's getting to the perfect time of year to watch it

  6. So smith didn’t make the matrix. He’s just a program. Trapped. Like the humans. But he wants out.

Also they had to be careful with the lobby scene with Neo and Trinity. They only had one chance to get it right if I’m correct

  7. My vote is don't watch the next ones, they just ruin it. However, if you're looking for some really GOOD backstory, check out The Animatrix, it's a collection of animated shorts having to do with how things got this way. And oh yeah, Lawrence Fishburne (Morpheus) still loves when people geek out and recognize him as Morpheus. He likes to say "…do you think that's air you're breathing?" at which point their heads explode 🙂

  8. Worth remembering that Keanu was recovering from a bike accident during the making of this and was wearing a neck brace while training and filming – and yet, his performance totally sells it. By the time of the sequels and he'd had time to heal, he was able to do a lot more wire gags and stunts and such on that basis.
