When a string of brutal murders terrorizes London, it doesn’t take long for legendary detective Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and his crime-solving partner, Dr. Watson (Jude Law), to find the killer, Lord Blackwood. A devotee of the dark arts, Blackwood has a bigger scheme in mind, and his execution plays right into his plans. The game is afoot when Blackwood seems to rise from the grave, plunging Holmes and Watson into the world of the occult and strange technologies. The film also stars Rachel McAdams as Holmes’ former adversary Irene Adler and Mark Strong portrays villain Lord Henry Blackwood.

Love you guys, but didn't take the time to watch this reaction through because compared to the BBC show Sherlock, these RDJ films are just B movies. If you want some TRULY GREAT Sherlock stories, with way better casting, acting (sorry RDJ), pacing, heartwrenching drama, and plotlines, you really should check out the BBC show Sherlock. 🙂
I've never revisited these RDJ films since I first saw them, cause they were okay but not great, but I own BBC's Sherlock on DVD and have watched it probably 5 times through!

I know many people are asking for you guys to watch the bbc sherlock but id be remiss to not make my own suggestion of Elementary. Its a US adaptation and went for like 6 or 7 seasons and its frankly amazing
If you get the chance, please watch Sherlock (TV show) with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. A very different take on the Sherlock Holmes novels but very smart.

Top 10 mystery movie for me
As a HUGE Sherlock Holmes fan, this became one of my favorite movies ever. To me, Jude Law is the picture perfect Watson. And while this was an original story, there's so many tidbits from the cannon. Every since I fell in love with your channel, I was excited for you guys to watch these movies and I'm so glad you had fun with it ❤

Used to be obsessed with this film <3 the Hans Zimmer score goes so hard too. Wished I liked the second film more but it's still worth a watch too. I love stories regarding Victorian London. It's why Assassin's Creed Syndicate was one of my fave of that franchise too
