Personally, I don't care for cheese on my apple pie. Sharp cheddar isn't bad on it but I just prefer the pie. Carol, you're a bossy girl. LOL!! You will get there. Don't go anywhere?? I wouldn't miss this for the world. LOL!! Looks like you two will be making a Hawaiian Poke Bowl. 😁

Please try to ignore the American obsession with hand washing. We have many people that are a bit fixated on germs to the point that they are worried about food that they will never eat. 😜

The best pie I ever made was when I was 12 years old. I’m not saying that to belittle but instead to say that as a child, I had no pressure nor preconceived ideas about how difficult pies can be. My mother had a slice and was amazed. She wanted to know how I made such a great pie crust. That was the only time I made a great pie. The rest of my 48 years have been decent pies. 💙💙💙

I grew up eating hot apple pie with cold wedges of Cheddar Cheese. Kind of like Carol's pears and cheese. The cold bite of the Cheddar cleanse your palate. Once the pie is cold we don't eat it with cheese. I grew up in Victoria Texas, most don't eat it with cheese but both my sets of grandparents were German and maybe that is why because it was something they both did!!!! Love yall!!!!

Apple pie is my favorite! I have never heard of eating it with cheese, that is weird. Use your hands; you wash them and then dive in.
You guys would die laughing at the number of pie crusts I've had to throw away. When I was very young we took some of mom's failed crust to the unfinished basement and threw it up against the wall. She was so humiliated but she had a great sense of humor.😂
