I like heath riles bbq sauce and Kinders
When I do this, I use sriracha, honey, Malcom reeds vinegar bbq sauce, and butter. Comes out incredible every time!
Those have to be awesome listening to Amy. They really came out looking slurping good . Stay safe and keep up the great recipes Neal and Amy. Fred.
Those looked fire. I have never tried to separate a brisket, and was surprised to see how easy the point/flat separated after the cook! I might need to do this.
Hope not many people coming over later, you two a have eatin them all. Just joking great job
I use the choice for my cheap ground beef, as yeah its not that great as a brisket.
Damn I don’t even know how to grade that one on the “Amy mmmm scale” grading system lol. That one got 3 enthusiastic “mmmm’s”. Well done guys they looked awesome per usual.
best video of 2025 !! off to a great start guys !!
Looks amazing brother
Looks awesome. guys. Cook for those of us who can't. It's 1 deg. outside and with windchill it feels like -18 F. C'mon spring.
I know your all about pellets and pits and patio space is limited, but would you be willing to expand in reviewing and using outdoor pizza ovens ? They seem to be very popular right now. 🤪🤗
That brisket is making very hungry. I can’t smoke at all right now because of the fires 🔥 🤗🤪
Boss, I tried reaching through the screen to steal one, but it didn't work….. Well done 👏 😋
Nailed it!
Stubbs Original is my go-to BBQ sauce for years.
That’s BBQ heaven right there. Cannot beat brisket burnt ends!! 🤤
Looks great just not sure why you would not use your Lonestar smoker with the wood chips
Looks amazing! As someone looking to buy the Lone star grillz pellet grill, I'm wondering why you chose to use the Traeger?
I've had maybe 3 flameouts in 6 years on my pellet grill. That's not very many but it's enough to allow me to never trust a pellet grill for an overnight cook.
When I make burnt ends I go on and separate the flat from the point before the cook. You get more bark on the ends that way
🔥🍽️
And I’m sitting here eating a fricken pop tart!!! lol looks amazing Neal!!!
Sounds and looks amazing! However, The part I am most curious about is how the flat turned out on a pellet grill cook? ie, The challenge of smoking a brisket is getting both cuts, the flat and point to the same temp at the same time. Did you achieve that here?
These look incredible!
I was the same way with bbq sauce. Couldn't ever just say I loved one better than the rest. Until I tried Blue Hog bbq sauce. Try it out next!
It’s the best thing to come off a smoker.
Meat candy!
Costco primes can also be hit or miss but I too will search them before any others!
The last time I bought brisket at Costco the prime grade was only $0.05 more per pound. I don't know why you wouldn't just go with that. There is definitely a difference in quality between prime and choice grade.
That looks like your best brisket cook to date………very nice!
Considering that prime brisket it cheaper per pound than all of the other meats. Why would you deviate from brisket for burnt ends.
