Tons of fun video to watch. A favorite of my wife and I. It came out on You Tube 3 years ago and has 51 million views.

reccomended more Elvis:) and it would be perrrrfect
The best one is Fred Astaire dancing to Led Zeppelin
Suzi you look stunning, your sexiness and beauty are fornicates on the sky of my dreams🍀💥♥️
So many fabulous dancers!
Circuses….. 😅
I’ve seen this one before and there are a few others too…just goes to show you that the early film stars had the dance moves long before the Rocker’s, the disco’s and the hip hopper’s.
I've seen all these dances in full. The Turner Classic Movies show all the movies
Extremely talented entertainers from the 30s on
A reminder for me to rewatch more musicals which I totally love. Too many to try & post who they all are for you, but I knew 95% of them (my age is showing). Some from 30's, 40's, 50's & of course some more current. What fun! And hats off to the creator of this video.
I love this! How can you not smile throughout the whole video? Thank you for making my day.
Dancing was all part of it years ago — even if you were not especially good, dancing in film was all part of it. Everyone danced. 2 women who were considered actresses & not dancers but who were exceptionally good were Lana Turner & Linda Darnell. Then there's singer-actress Doris Day & Judy Garland. Of course the amazing Rita Hayworth. And let's not forget John Travolta from that quick clip of Saturday Night Fever. 2 people you would never imagine who were terrific were Dean Martin & Johnny Carson. A great fun one is Gene Kelly dancing w-the cartoon character Jerry mouse — Gene at his amazing best! If you want to see 1 1/2 hrs. of amazing dancing, see the film "That's Dancin' " 1985.
On another subject, the pink lipstick is sooo much better on you than the red. Firstly, pink always makes a woman look younger, no matter what age (red ages the face) & secondly, it is more fitting for your complexion.
Fantastico…Susi sei sempre più Bella…Susi..you are more and more beautiful
I found this list of movies used in the video in the notes for it. I certainly recognized many of the actors dancing and have seen a lot of the movies. I forgot what a great dancer Ann-Margret was!
List of movies in order used in the video:
It’s A Wonderful Life, Dirty Dancing, Don’t Knock The Rock, Gold Diggers Of 1935, Good News, Dames, Babes On Broadway, Panama Hattie, Follow The Fleet, Bye Bye Birdie, Lady Of Burlesque, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Show Boat (1951), I Love Melvin, Meet Me After The Show, Down To Earth, Viva Las Vegas, A Date With Judy, Footloose, Moon Over Miami, Hello Dolly, The Gold Rush, Flower Drum Song, Mary Poppins, West Side Story, The Kid From Brooklyn, Les Girls, Easter Parade, Guys & Dolls, Royal Wedding, 42nd Street, Sweet Charity, White Nights, The Affairs Of Dobie Gillis, Three Little Words, Let’s Be Happy, Blue Skies, Singin’ In The Rain, Lullaby Of Broadway, The Seven Little Foys, Broadway Melody Of 1940, Tea For Two, Call Me Madam, Sun Valley Serenade, Words And Music, It’s Always Fair Weather, The Band Wagon, Alexander’s Ragtime Band, Down Argentine Way, Les Demoiselles De Rochefort, Saturday Night Fever, Flashdance, On The Town, The Little Princess, Stormy Weather, Hit The Deck, Excuse My Dust, Pennies From Heaven, The Great American Broadcast, Damn Yankees, Broadway Melody Of 1938, You’re My Everything, Look For The Silver Lining, Sensations Of 1945, White Christmas, Lovely To Look At, Deep In My Heart, A Damsel In Distress, There’s No Business Like Show Business, You’ll Never Get Rich, The Barkleys Of Broadway, Evergreen, Honolulu, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Hollywood Canteen, The Belle Of New York, Star!, Broadway Rhythm, The Gang’s All Here, Anchors Aweigh, Breakin’.
Hollywood stars dance to "Up Town Funk" is amust do.
At 75, I've probably seen most of these movies in this video. The song Footloose is better than 95% of all metal music. LOL
As you can see there once was real entertainers in Hollwood. Not the spoiled brats we see today. Love this and you should react to the "downtown Funk" dance of Bruno Marrs also.
Couldn't possibly name the 70 or so movies shown here, but I will say there is a lot of Fred Astaire (obviously) and some incredible actors and dancers from the best years of Hollywood. I would note a lot from the original West Side Story.
As a bass player for 30 years, this is hands down one of my favorite bass lines in a song 👍
I am pretty sure whoever produced this video digitized movie clips of dancing and then sped them up or slowed them down to fit the song.
I just love this! Thanks guys ❤
Charlie Chapin as Tramp doing his famous dance! Of course, Footloose with young Kevin Bacon. 100+ years of dancing!
This was AWESOME!!!!!! I needed that smile and joy today. Thanks, guys, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
This put a huge smile on my face! This was well put together & quite entertaining. Thank you so much!
Thanks, it was fun and AWESOME 👍💥❤.
I love seeing how happy this video made you!! What a GEAT reaction video. Like a lot of other people, I need to say that this may my whole day. I am glad someone found the list of the movies featured so you can maybe go check them out. I was raised on old Hollywood film and musicals and many of the films included here are treasures.
You could do those all day and I would be happy pappy! First of all, I love how you appreciate dancing! I so love you reactions to this. I'm 65 and have enjoyed dancing and watching it all my life. Believe it or not, I've only had tap dancing lessons in elementary school but have just loved to dance ever since. The disco era was the ultimate for me out of all of it from 50's dancing all the way to today's moves but I'll shake a leg anywhere! Got any "Rocky Top" handy? I can jig through that one no problem, lol! And yes, it always got me through housework too!
The very first clip of Donna Reed starting the record is from the Christmas movie 'It's a wonderful life'. There are clips of Judy Garland, Ann Margaret, Gene Kelly, Fred Astair & Ginger Rogers, Danny Kaye and of course Kevin Bacon, from 'Footloose' and sooooooooooooooo many more! Check out the movie 'Singing in the rain'. Classic!
😮 this is amazingly awesome 😎…..👍
There's another one like this set to I'm so Excited by The Pointer Sisters thats well worth watching. It just makes you smile!
Eva Cassidy chain of fools
Susie, the absolute glow and sheer joy in your face made me fall in love with you all over again❤️❤️
This one is a blast, but the best one of this type of mashup is probably the one that uses UPTOWN FUNK for the dance track. You won't be able to keep your seat!!🤩
The only other dance scenes I was hoping to see were the ones with Jake and Elwood in "The Blues Brothers" movie!
At 4:15 white knights great movie
OMG i remember Footloose playing at the discos in the eighties .
Great ❤ I wasn’t expecting that ending!
I loved the movie Footloise. Went to see it 5 times. Stood in long lines every time. Everyone always came out with a dance in their steps.
Kenny Loggins remains a fan favorite. He was one-half of Loggins and Messina, with Jim Messina (Poco).
The films are listed. Those are some of the greatest musicals in history.
Awesome! But like any time I listen to this song, I’m Exhausted!!
