  1. Cool is the perfect word. A man who constantly renewed himself, his style, his voice, his songs. Absolutely one of a kind. His life was one long production. When I saw who you were going to hear I thought oh she’s gonna LOVE him.

  2. Young lady, if you so choose, the musical library I hope you are stepping into is vast. If I may, a few suggestions. Rock n Roll Suicide, Sweet Thing-Candidate-Sweet Thing(Reprise), Panic in Detroit, Station to Station, Five Years, Lady Grinning Soul, Prettiest Star. They aren’t chart topping hits (others will suggest them). They’re just songs from albums that were released in the 70’s. Please enjoy your time with a true superstar, I hope you stay in the library for a while. 🍻❤️that smile of yours. 😍

  4. You so need to watch the series, "Life on Mars" – I could sit there for hours just enjoying the look on your face as the jokes get worse by the minute…

The "more fingers in more pies" one should be about critical mass I think. Or maybe the part where Gene Hunt quotes "scripture".

Have you by any chance read any of the discworld books? I think they might appeal.

  5. I miss David a lot, he was one of the most influential artists of the 70's and 80's. With a feel for the taste of the time, always right at the front. And he was such a poet. For a lot of people was this man the soundtrack of their life.
I couldn't listen to his last album and especially the title "Lazarus" for a long time without bursting into tears.
If you're tough listen to the title, if not, don't.

  6. No classical training. Bowie wanted to write songs for Broadway. One can hear that in many of his songs. Like an actor, hre consistently reinvented characters for various albums "Ziggy Mars", "The Thin White Duke", "Alladin Sane"…you may want to look at the Hunky Dory, Ziggy Startdust, Diamind Dogs and Station to Station albums.
