  4. Steve Walsh is the lead singer the other long puffy haired guy is a co lead. They share the lead vocals. I've seen Kansas about 10 times back in the day . They are from Topeka Kansas and I'm from Salina Ks . All their songs have a lesson and meanings .

  5. Kansas had a knack for merging their amazing orchestral musicianship and rock music. Very spiritual music whether Carry on My Wayward Son, Dust in the Wind, portrait (He Knew More than Me and You), Miracles Out of Nowhere or their masterpiece the Wall, their music was a deep dive spiritual experience.

  12. Congratulations on reacting to this deep cut from one of my favourite bands.

    FYI: The main lead singer, who also plays keyboards, is Steve Walsh. He is the one singing this song. The guy you are referring to, on the right of the photo, is Robby Steinhardt, the bands violinist & backing singer, though he occasionally does sing lead vocals on some songs. Steve Walsh is the one on the left of the photo.

  18. One of my favorite bands of all time…but not one of my favorite tracks. Ah, well. They can't all be winners. lol. Meanwhile, is it just me or have you guys got your left and right inputs swapped lately? I'm hearing Asia in my right ear and BJ in my left.

  20. Someone may have pointed this out to you but this song was wrktten by a man trykng to convince the love of his life to become a Cbristian. Some of tge members were believers and sometimes you hear it in the lyrics of the songs.

  23. the guy with the big long curly hair was the Violinist & back ground singer Robbie Steinhardt the singer is Steve Walsh the one next to him in that photo.
    You should listen to "Point of Know Return" or "the Wall" 🙂
