  1. You should check out the band Poison. A few of their best songs are "Nothin' But a Good Time" "Every Rose Has It's Thorn" and "Unskinny Bop"

Though my favorites are "Look What the Cat Dragged In" and "Back to the Rocking Horse" neither of which have music videos (though Look What The Cat Dragged In does have a great fan-made video that is very convincing)

  2. If this song is a tribute to Freddie Mercury, then it was an original Queen song cause Freddie. Mercury was the lead singer for a group named Queen. Hopefully this will save you a lot of searching. Queen is a very powerful iconic group.

  3. The reaction is very good, you could react to Guns n Roses as they are currently, the members are older, but the essence of their rock attracts a crowd to this day, there are good current videos like Guns n' roses selects , Guns n ' roses it's so easy live glastonbury, Guns n ' roses paradise city Live glastonbury, Guns n ' roses Sweet child on Mine live Dublin 2022 , There are some good music options to see Los as they are currently

  4. You need to brush up on your rock and roll…when you say you have heard the name, and they’re hall of fame legends…sad. But you weren’t alive in 68-74 when rock was at its peak.

  5. When listening to a song for the 1st time you should always either watch the video or the album version…alot of the performances are different to the studio version because the band gets bored of the song by the time they do it live over and over…so it's never the true edit we all got to know for the 1st time .

  6. You are so right about biopics. They are often pathetic. "Bohemian Rhapsody" about Mercury/Queen is definitely not a must see. Much better to just listen or watch Queen perform, read bits about them and watch some interviews. Of course, you know by now, this is a great cover of a great Bob Dylan song and has nothing to do with Mercury or Queen.

  7. You mentioned watching movies and reacting them as well nice idea…
    Here is a suggestion/idea/ question.
Watch the movie " A few good men " with Tom Cruz and Jack Nicholson.
It would be interesting to hear your take to what point in the move did it go from just being a movie to being a good movie to being a great movie…

  8. Diane great job with your reaction and thoughts on this version of Knocking On Heaven Door from Guns and Roses done at the concert for life aka The Freddie Mercury show . The correct way to spell GNR lead singer name is Axl Rose . The introduction that you hear in the beginning the interments is from the song is Only Women Bleed from Alice Cooper

  9. Guns N’ Roses is ( Back then) Lead Singer/Frontman William ( Although nobody calls him that but his close family calls him Billy.) Axl Rose, Slash (Real name Saul Hudson) Lead and Rhythm Guitarist. Michael “Duff” McKagan Bass Guitar player, Gilby Clarke Rhythm Guitar Player, Matt Sorum on Drums and the 6th member was/is “Dizzy” Reed on keyboards, synths and piano ( Even though Axl is a classically trained piano player himself and mostly programs the synthesizers himself) although the “original” Drummer was Steven “Popcorn” Adler who replaced Rob Gardner that was only in the band for like 3 weeks, and original Rhythm Guitarist was Jeff Isabelle “Izzy” Stradlin. Gilby is good but when they lost Izzy they lost some sort of magic! 🙄😎

  10. Just a different time. Back when rock n’ roll was still dangerous. I can remember Gn’R would come to town and it might end in a riot or some other nonsense but at the same time you might see the greatest rock show ever.

  11. My Girls have now opened for Guns and roses 5 times. They had to decline one as they were invited to The MTV music awards. They are 3 sisters from Mexico called The Warning. Wish you would listen to them.

  12. I listen to this song differently than most, I wore a badge for 39 years, it was a very dark world and I knocked on heavens door many times! Edit: I should have watched to the end before I commented. Good video as usual!

  13. Patti Smith was a backup singer for Bruce Springsteen. They ended up getting married and had three children. They are still married.
Patti did go on to a solo singing career, and almost made it into top 10 of Billboards hot 100 (only made it to #50 on the UK top singles chart).
