A: Typically there are hundreds watching and chatting. While gaming, it’s hard to get to everyone.

A: YouTube is broken. Notifications don’t always go out or they are late. It gives people time to join.

Hmm anyone find the purchase button on the steam store looked for 15 minutes couldn't find it.
This looks like fun, but I can't help but think a real Mars colony would be a lot more compact, than this.
totally looked up different craters, those ae real locations. Soo Cool!
For the question "is this better than Surviving Mars", the person in chat is asking if Apples are better than Oranges.
They are both fruits, but completely different. So are Per Aspera and Surviving Mars.
Surviving Mars is more of a Micro Management city builder while Per Aspera is a Macro Management city builder.
In one you go down to supplying the individual needs of the few hundred colonists you have while in the other you are supplying the needs of the planet you're building.
That's why in Per Aspera, the Blue Mars terraforming part makes sense while in Surviving Mars, while fun to do, it doesn't make any sense that you'd even come close to terraforming the whole planet from the tiny slab of land you're operating from.
Interapting with video
the only things not realistically scaled are the buildings, occupying more visual space than their real footprint ! it looks very amazing and challenging, the lifetime of this game seems unlimited ❤ thank you 😊
edit to add : you can only bring South pole's research station's scientists when TOP temp is -50°C, no reasonnable Canadian is willing to live 24/7/365 if -50°C is more than an temp anomaly 😅
