This time at the Quick Speed Shop its the first drive in my nailhead powered Deathtrap Rail Dragster! I’ve got the 401 Buick dialed in enough to make some noise and move around. Let’s go run in around and see how it works!
Please like, share, and subscribe. I put out new videos every Wednesday and Sunday.

Good thing you checked it out
Nice work man
For a second there I thought you were gonna take it out on the street
If it ain't Dangerous it ain't Fun!
2:35 That was a "flame trap" required in the rules. Sounds & looks like it has a weak cylinder, they don't shake like that with 8 good holes.
That thing is crazy cool!
Oh man that is so cool, I thought I heard that rod knock but I convinced myself it must be the camera mic and exhaust since you weren't shutting her down. But then you comfirmed it. That is looking like more and more fun to drive. Thanks for sharing the fun
Cool old hot rod
Kool That was Thanks for sharing
Well, the carbon monoxide poisoning explains things
i hope you keep picking away at this, clean it up a bit, fix the carb, etc… and run it a bit. dunno why it would be a death trap.
👍🏻well done! But, at least do a burn out in it before putting it in the gas station display
I love it lots of fun!
Love it wish I as there to hear it IN person drowns out the wife noise LOL . The flames make it look like an alcohol car .Great job keep it up
Hi, I know you are not planning on racing or anything. Dragsters generally run 8" torque converters, high stall. If you can find one I think that you will like the car a lot better.
Oh yeah, get a Holley double pumper. The carb that you have will always suck on a dragster. It doesn't have and will never have enough accelerator pump.
That's cool right there
Excellent work Josh!
I felt so bad for you when it sounded like a bad rod bearing, And then it wasn't what a rollercoaster of emotions ! Great Stuff !
If you aint living on the edge, you are taking up too much space
It sounds more like the torque converter is loose on flywheel.
Gray is aluminum,or brg dust.
that carb needs a total rebuild and a little more timing in the distributor
