The best thing to do with the gum is just throw it in garbage
Ah shit! I planned on sending you a Canadian package…But the stuff you got was awesome!!!
My son and I just watched the video Tash, kinda sad that everything looks a bit squished. Nice to meet your son, and glad you are happy with the haul I sent you. I tried to send a little something for everyone (including the puppies). Loved the look on your guys face eating the maple cookies, can't wait to see the rest. Take care my friend
PS. I did warn you and apologize for the Thrills in our emails 🤣
I'll have to see if I can get you some Hawkins Cheezies and eatmore bars not to mention some treats that are just manufactured here in Newfounland
Crunchie is the best
Coffee Crisp is a chocolate bar. Anyone can have it. I have my peanut butter with Rogers golden syrup on bread, etc. A fellow Albertan thanks F. Brown.
As a Canadian I HATE THRILLS GUM. It has been around forever and I have no idea why. Ya can’t chew it like like normal gum because it tastes like soap … can’t use it as soap because it’s gum. I have no idea what it’s used for. nasty stuff
Only thing missing is some world class Canadian cannabis,(which would be great before your taste test). Hickory Sticks!! Awesome munchie snack! Hope you guys enjoy your Canadian snacks.
This video made me so happy. So glad you got some of our yummy treats.
That kid looks like Adam Freidland
Hey, I'd be happy to send you a Québec care package 🙂
This is so wholesome. It made my night. When you’ve had a tough day, a video like this brings tears to your eyes. You two are so sweet! Thank you for sharing this.
Hello, Nice video. Coffee Crisp chocolate bars are my favourite.
What a treat!
You still need to try Ketchup Chips only available in Canada
That goddamned gum is terrible!!
Thrills are horrible and it does taste like soap
Someone went to Dollarama!
Aussies munching maple sugar cookies is fun. I wonder if Aussie Post snuck a few things out of there.
P.S. do not chew the Thrills. Just don't.
It's so nice to see your son! I have the same tote bag hanging on my bedroom door!!
I used to get maple cookies for xmas all the time, maple cream, maple butter, (it all depends on hw long you boil it for) Not so much now, as i don't care for sweets over the years. I do enjoy coffee crisp. Maybe 3 times a year. Its a nice treat, drinking black coffee thats craft roasted half a km down the road and owned by a good friend, and drinking black coffee and espresso, its more sugar than coffee. Its my sons favourite chocolate bar. So yours can have it. Dont worry about that. All dressed chips are really good. Or all seasoned as they apparently call them in alberta. As others have mentioned flip the packaging over and you will see both languages. I usually just read whatever way i pick it up as i live in the only bilingual province in the country. So i speak both. But its law it has to be presented in both languages unless it's imported i think. Either way, hope you enjoy them all, take care, stay safe, and judging on what f sent you, if you're diabetic, watch the amount of what he sent you before you eat it. Lol. Because there's alot of sugar and carbs in that package. I hope you're happy with it. It was nice of them.
Thrills gum has been around for decades. It's a weird thing that we're weirdly proud of. A couple of years ago someone brought a pack into my office. "Anyone want a Thrills?" We all groaned and rolled our eyes; then we all quietly said, "Yeah." I think we're all masochists.
This Canadian LOVES YOU Tash from Red Deer, Alberta 🇨🇦
you're eating your cookies wtong…. where's the milk ?
warning, TRILLS are an acquired taste.
Hi Tash, little fun fact: Peanut Butter was invented in Montreal in 1884 : )
such a nice gift, I hope you two enjoy the treats. Also, congratulations on making 2k.
I’m gonna send you stuff too later, and I’ll be sure to put a sticker for AP to NOT SMOOSH 😋 but glad you enjoyed! Have a good one!
Also, did you have him by yourself? 😝 he looks just like you
Hello Aussie Tash: Nanaimo bars are another delicious Canadian treat. I suggest you get the recipe and make them. Also, Caramilk bars. Can you get Canadian pure maple syrup there? It is delicious on waffles or poured over vanilla ice cream. Just make certain you get the "real deal." There's a lot of fake syrup (corn syrup actually.) Best wishes, Bob in Ontario Canada. p.s. We have a maple syrup operation near us (Jakeman's). It IS expensive because it takes forty litres of maple sap to make one litre of syrup. You're right about Thrills. Tastes like soap. lol. Regards.
you, dear are easily amused
i (a canuck) havent even tried some of those things
I can't afford to send anything, but perhaps one of my fellow canucks can send you a couple jugs of maple syrup. It's a must on pancakes, with butter. A selection of maple products (maple syrup, maple sugar candies, maple butter which is kind of like creamed honey except maple, etc) would be even better. Perhaps one of my Québécois, New Brunswicker, or Ontarian folks could send some.
God Love 💯💞
That’s so nice to see you happy , looking forward to tasting video! Love and respect from Canada my friends
