Kudos to the writer here. Few recognise that the Jedi Order's corruption was a major factor in the Republic's fall, and the Jedi's weakened connection to the Force. It all cumulated in the Jedi Council's decision to enact a coup d'etat even before they learned Palpatine's true identity.
When the Force created Anakin to "restore balance", that meant annihilating both the Sith and Jedi.

YESS!!! The Clone Wars is one of my favorite eras of history in the Star Wars universe!! I love how you opened it up and then went to the 1st Battle of Geonosis! I love the Jedi but sadly yes they lost their way and allowed the corruption of the Republic fester into their dogma and policies. I wish they had changed over the 1000 years like the Sith did but they became stagnant and unwilling to budge on their ideals. It seemed they were fighting the last war instead of preparing for future conflicts if one did arise which the Clone Wars did in 22 BBY.

Sending an army of clones head on against a horde of droids on a flat open plain with oncoming artillery was pretty stupid but it is believable on the republic's part. The republic had never fought a serious war in ages and it didn't help that their armies were lead by Jedi who had never lead troops into battle before.
Throughout most of the early campaigns the republic needlessly got their clones killed by the millions via head on assaults, exactily how in the real world, Europeans got millions of their own troops killed with head on assaults during the first two years of World War One.

What I missed is how the Jedi, unused to command and the abillities of their troops used the famed clone commando's as frontline troops, causing eyewatering casualties and a huge shortage in the Grand Army of the Republics elite. It also embittered the training cadre on Kamino to whom most commandos where almost as close as children.
