Advice for War Thunder sponsorships from a player: Don’t show only the jet fighters, also show the biplanes, monoplanes, and all the other ones, it’s misleading to newbies, just don’t mention the months of grinding
I’ve found that heavy fighters with two light machine guns and loaded with bomb locks and the typical armor plates and extra fuel tanks does magic. I consistently reach like 40 ground attack as the UK
I wish the British contribution to the air would have been less 😭 if only they ticked the CAS and logistics strike box and not the strategic one. Or chose another air doctrine branch. Bomber Harris was a cruel man. Not unjustified at all. Germany had it coming. But it was in retrospective useless. It didn't break the Germans at all. It destroyed 1000 years of culture tho and now we have all those ugly cities.
Its actually stunning how effective the RAF was in spite of Lord Beaverbrook being an utter incompetent deuche canoe . They could've utterly butt fucked the german airforces much sooner if they'd just let de Havilland build his Mosquito that much sooner.
I remember getting like, 120 CAS damage before…. This is just sad 😭

Regardless who had better planes/pilots, the RAF held off the Germans for longer than anyone. Hats off to them!!
Another thing ive learnt is to alwsys have. Convoys for sale as a major since you just have so many.
