Hey folks, In Canada we call those handles on the A pillars "Holy S*** handles. LOL. Have a fantastic Borneo adventure while getting some mud on those tires. Cheers from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
So glad Marian is Ok. Have a safe and wonderful adaventure
love your video… one hour feel like 1 minute.. Safe travel both of you… love from Johor
THIS IS PROBLEM WITH TALL PEOPLE AND SHORT PEOPLE OF ASIA BUT IT REALLY LOW SHOULD PUT IT HIGHER A BIT YEAH
Thank you for sharing the adventure. Stay safe!
Do visit St Peter church in Kuching padungan near the Chinatown cat statue. It's really gorgeous and it's interior is breathtaking
ahh mate, these turn out to be a proper grand tour. Marianne get well soon.
If you realise, borneo Malaysia and peninsular Malaysia traditional architecture are actually quite different where many longhouse are constructed in sabah and sarawak where more individual houses are built in peninsular
Penampang has the region's oldest stone church after st Micheal in sandakan. And this penampang church is also named St Micheal 😅
Another really beautiful church is st aloysius in penampang. Also, do take note that sarawak is a majority Christian state so unlike peninsular, you can see a lot of influence on that here.
wow another 1 hour great video…waiting for a new video tomorrow…🤭🤭🤭🤭
Also, kundasang would honestly be more preferable compared to ranau as there are some nice rivers, a tea plantation, desa dairy farm and local produce markets in kundasang town as well as a ww2 memorial as sabah went through massive destruction during ww2, which is why a lot of towns in sabah have very few pre ww2 buildings – some towns were competely destroyed by the Japanese
WELCOME! To our beloved country SABAH NORTH BORNEO!
SABAH is amazing…you guys may go to Pulau Tiga in Kuala Penyu where the first and second Survivor seasons were held. After that you guys can cross from the mainland to Labuan by ferry. Labuan (Victoria Island) has a very intresting WW2 history, plus the wine and chocolate are cheap…
If you guys are going to Labuan, tame the road from Kuala Penyu to Menumbuk ferry terminal. You guys can drive along the beach where Club Med Borneo is being built. There are nice beaches…
Get well soon Marrine.. hope to meet you guys in Sabah before the end of your expeditions in Borneo.
You guys have a great, safe and pleasant journey. Let me know when are you guys are going to Labuan. I will try to be back in my parents' home so I can host you there…
Glad to see Marianne's head injury wasn't too serious. Hopefully both of you can stay out of trouble from now on.🤕🥴🤪
Thank you for your videos ❤️ I watch it whenever it popped up in my YouTube. I’m learning from your traveling experiences and what to do and not. Now I know why I should at least wear a hat or cap on adventure trip, I believe the flipping of the hat/cap may warn me of any object that I come in contact with and the material may prevent unnecessary injuries.
Not the start you wanted for this adventure, but I am looking forward to the rest of it. By the way the New Zealand Government has announced it is relaxing visitor visa requirements to allow tourists to work remotely while visiting New Zealand so this may be helpful for future plans.
Ouch poor Mariane and you were doing so well watching where your footing was !! Wahhh
On another note the Digital Nomad Visa was introduced in NZ today ( I wonder when it actually starts? )
Looking forward to Kit and your travels.
Stay safe ❤
Did you get the scent of the Rafflesia?
Izuzu D-Max is a very popular car in Thailand.
Hello, Can ı use your videos about a project
Tq for visiting out our small town of tambunan,,
The D-Max tyres is the X – Terrain and it's so noisy and annoying. Should have had the Highway terrain tyres would be better. But anyhow, better than nothing. Just drive at safe speed and especially cornering and gping down the mountain roads…
Nice vlog guys. Welcome back to Malaysia. Stay safe.
Good work to all Ranau Hospital Staff. Keep it up.
The small town area that you passed by (the roundabout with the ginger near speedmart99) is called Tambunan. You turned left to Ranau, turning right would bring you to Tambunan town (another 15 minutes) then to Keningau and then Tenom (where they process the delicious coffee you drank at Guramboi – Yit Foh Tenom Coffee). From Keningau you can drive back to KK through the Kimanis road (a bit steep). From Keningau you can also head to Sook – Nabawan then take the Kalabakan Road to Tawau. Get well soon Marianne! Looking forward to see more of your adventures in Sabah!
So sorry to see u got hurt Marianne. GWS.
Enjoy Borneo. Generous of Isuzu. Thank you. Looking forward to your adventures.
Now I know why Isuzu is so popular in Borneo – tough trucks for rough terrain. Go, Kit !!!
Luarbiasa hobi mereka ni. Great video
You are inspiring me. I plan to fly to Jakarta in April and meet my Indonesian ex wife. We are still great friends and both love travelling and exploring. Malaysia was beautiful, Borneo was fantastic, in Sulawesi we had relatives, Lombok and Gilli Islands were just heaven. Pramuka Island in the Java sea was a real adventure, we travelled on a wooden fishing boat, the island had no electricity after 6pm each day, but that added to the charm. So I am gearing up for my next adventure. Stay safe, travel well and excellent content.
The handles at kit 's door are for climbing in !
Get well soon ❤❤
Thanks
Thank you both for this video. Get well soon Marianne. See you
If you are fan of roti canai, you can try one kind of roti canai that only available in Sabah/Sarawak mamak restaurant called Roti Kobra. There are two variation Roti Kobra Chicken or Lamb, I recommend lamb.
me and my family stay at that hotel😂 when we stay in ranau,I sit in that balcony til 3am because the 1 room is full, it's not great but I liked that moment😂
Bon retablissement Marianne. Prenez soin de vous !
