  1. This is the Fire Emblem game I’ve been waiting for to come out on the Switch. 3 Houses focused too much on the Social aspect and I was really wanting a more traditional FE title. Three Houses isn’t a bad game, but for me it grew tedious over time.

  2. Vander is a great unit, problem with him though is he is a big exp sponge. He barely gets any early on due to being an advanced class where everyone else could really benefit which is why I benched him.

  3. Well, turning off the auto-advance text is a way to pause cutscene since you must advance the text and the scene manually. Also nice to see you try a Fire emblem game Ruri, those games are fun and sometime challenging like playing Chess would be. As for me this one is my forth one in the series, my very first Fire emblem was FE: the blazing blade, then FE: Awakening and then FE: Three houses.

  4. I've never played a Fire Emblem game, but they're on my list of "Things That Sound Super Interesting! Too Bad I'll Never Have Time To Enjoy Them!" I'm totally down for more of this, as long as you can bring your personality to it… and the story stays interesting hahaha

  5. I think that's better to have a protagonist that starts as something of a wimp, and grows into a brave hero rather than being perfect from the start. Like, basic character arc. That "they give me the chills" line was nerve-racking I admit.

  6. A couple things:
    1. It's super fun seeing you play and learn something new.
    2. Don't feel bad about resetting if you lose units. While the game is designed around you losing units, the point of classic isn't necessarily the permadeath, it's just to make sure you actually have to play carefully and strategically. On casual, you can just throw your units to their deaths because you know it won't matter cuz they come back for the next battle. It takes away all the strategy of the game, and that's why I think it's not a good playstyle. I mean, play whatever you want to play of course, but I'm personally happy you went with classic.
