  1. All wars cost sacrifices, but the main thing is that the Russians not only win over the collective West, but win so overwhelmingly that it becomes a pure insult to the West and the rest of the world sees Russia's superior power.

  2. My respect for Finland. The only country that did what responsible authorities must do. Unfortunately governments like German government, use any kind of excuses like international law just for doing nothing, it has emboldened our enemies and it will be harder and harder to stop them. Ukraine cannot protect the whole NATO. Our governments are using our ( taxpayers) money and are not doing the job to protect us as we expect. Our society is ill, we have no men left

  4. "We've reached the breaking point. Now it's the moment when member states have to decide: we go and we support," Borrell said in an interview with a group of media, including Euronews, two days before the end of his tenure. AND YOU KNOW WHAT ? AN €6.6 billion fund in collective assistance IS STILL UNDER HUNGARY'S FIRM VETO!

  5. There is a comment from Vladislav Shurygin a russian military expert

"It is completely clear that cutting the energy cable off the coast of Estonia was just a cover-up for the seizure of our tanker.

Shurygin also has a proposal for countermeasures, which he urges to react to Finland's actions.

    – There is an excellent answer to this. The cables running between NATO countries must break at the bottom of the Baltic Sea with even greater intensity, he writes."

  6. There is a difference between this and the previous cases: The ship was actually within the Finnish territorial waters when ordered to stop, so there was no question whether the Finnish authorities had a right to stop and board the ship or not. Even though the actual damage of cables happened in international waters, within the Finnish exclusive economic zone.

Ships that damage underwater infrastructure should be confiscated and sold to pay the damages. Even if criminal intent cannot be proven. The ship owner companies and captains operating in such dangerous and reckless way should lose their licences and permits.
