Goose. Not only is he a jock, one of my least favorite types, he's my birthday twin and he ruined my first birthday celebrated on my first island. And he's a chicken named GOOSE. That makes no sense!!
I love my crankies, too! And totally feel you on the Hornsby sitch. He is on my island right now, and I will be exchanging him via amiibo for someone better suited to the theme, but I am definitely hanging on to his cute, flower-loving self as long as possible.
Normal is definitely my favorite villager type (Coco is baby 💚) but lazy and cranky are at a time for second for me 😊

a lot of my favorite villagers are Normals… I think at one time I've had up to three on my island cuz they're just too easy to fall in love with. I also kinda have a soft spot for the grumpy villagers. When I was playing New Leaf, earning their respect was super validating 😛 now in the new game, they're kinda like the out-of-touch grandfather character and I kinda love that too.
Your comment on not needing any more cats, I had to laugh… cuz I kinda hope to one day have an all cat island. I currently have 5 (6 including Bianca if I bent the rules for wild cats). Nobody's left my island in a while only because I don't want to lose any of my cats and the ones I do want to leave, they all have birthdays coming up and I haven't celebrated nearly enough birthdays LMAO. I've had Poppy and Cranston the last few weeks and the last one in that stretch is Shino on Halloween… but I'm also still at the point I still like her enough I don't want her to leave yet.
