Oh lord I hope they don't keep repeating the mocking "um actually" joke in this video. Yes those people can be annoying, but repeating the same joke a few dozen times in that previous video was so obnoxious for the same reason telling any joke over and over quickly stops being funny and just becomes grating. This group regularly repeats jokes they find funny, but usually it's a lot less frequent and so more tolerable.
Bro. My dishwasher, washer, AND dryer were all going at the same time at the beginning of this video. My back and head was pressed up against my wall and I could FEEL the rumbling of the guns, ships, Space Marines. It was awesome.
its fun watching you guys play but it can get a bit annoying with the 40k hate/disdain. especially when people are just casually talking about lore. considering you all know a lot about very 'nerdy' fandoms like pokemon, I would expect maybe a more open mind.
According to military customs, a lower ranking soldier walks on the left side of a senior officer. This courtesy developed when swords were still used on the battlefield. The lower ranked soldier on the "left" protected the senior officers' left side. Therefore, the term leftenant developed.
I'm in the military and didn't know this. It makes sense, which is a weird thing when you consider we're talking old English here. Besides the usual customs and courticies of walking on the left side of a superior.
Red helmet means "Sergeant" for the Ultramarines. Pretty cool lore as to why, but too much to type here. The red and white racing stripe means "Lieutenant".
