  1. This is why new vehicles will have electronic monitoring that will put the vehicle into limp mode automatically when they pass a speed limit some percentage above the posted speed for where the car is driving.. No amount of laws or threat of penalties will stop this activity, it will require the technology..

  2. So very tragic all the way around. The US is going to have to take drastic action on the speeding. It's everywhere. Start by impounding then selling those vehicles. Severe mandatory sentencing if anyone is hurt or worse. No more ads with the SPEED of the vehicle emphasized. I see ads for SUV's and trucks and they are crowing about how fast they are! I lost a family of friends to speeders here in California. The entire family wiped out in an instant by thoughtless young people in fast cars.

I wonder if Anthony even knows his family is gone?

  3. I know this is kind of a controversial topic, but in wrecks involving speed, we always blame the person going fast, but is that really the case? I'm in NO way siding with the person that killed this family but just the speed in general

  4. Property taxes are going sky high, and yet we see no officers cruising the streets, no officers doing speed checks, no, nothing, why are we paying for so much property taxes and no due diligence from law enforcement. This makes no sense. If we don’t get police to do their job, then taxes need to be reduced. Period.

  5. There are a lot of people being killed by street racers, especially by owners racing their high horsepower Dodge Chargers. Now I'm not blaming these cars, I am blaming these reckless people who buy these cars just so they can race them on public streets.

  6. Are police really making too few traffic stops. That’s what democrats complain about here where we have a big problem with drag and show races. Dems think there are too many traffic stops. And it’s harassing. Drivers seem to know they can get away with anything even as horrible as this ultimate crash crime. These are not accidents but felony crimes. We don’t know the outcome but Texas does have the death penalty if this becomes a capital case. Has to be extra circumstances and other things to make it capital. I saw in Oakland California that residents on one street made DIY roundabouts with tires filled with stones. The city came and removed them after a car crashed into one. It was because of the speeding and drag racing and shows. Then there are those on freeways who don’t slow down or move over for stopped cars on the side. We’ve had law enforcement struck many times despite the law.
