The Triple Triad cards always annoy me with these events because I most definitely want them, but they're always locked behind quest progress for some BS reason.

I got some of the heavens ward birds first go soloing with gunbreaker. first go droppped done. 3 dropped frist go one took about 22 tries thou.
When you rotate to demonstrate the items, please keep the rotation speed slow! I was starting to get dizzy watching the camera spin sometimes.

Fisher Retainers are absolutely worth leveling. I have made over 6mil gil in just minions that my Fishing retainer has brought back over the last year. They are also the minion that brings me the least amount of "crystals" and "Roofs"
make it rain is going to be available in like 2 days or so so the mgp card is really worthless
don't tell me what not to buy! *proceeds to go by the suggestions you made because it makes sense*

Just a reminder about why the mgp card is worth getting: FFXV return event.
For me, I’ll be grabbing mgp tokens, dire wolf, and some glam. That’s about it.
As a sub player, most of the rewards are not worth the tomestones
but for a free trial player, it's a pretty good deal for lack of access to MB, PVP, PF, or the rewards outside of free trial content reach (gabriel mount for ex)
for them is a pretty good deal

As a fellow Chaos resident, my general benchmark for market value is around 10k per tome.
You can get by Byakko's double stack with a 30%, or rampart right before the first (need around 20s) + shield CD before the second (if you're geared up enough of course, though I think ~640 should be enough)
I was able to survive Jade Stoa solo on blue mage using Diamondback when he grabs. It wasn’t fun and took lots of practice (for me at least). Not farming it solo myself but it’s possible
Do the MGP cards profit from MGP bonusses like during the make it rain campaign or FC buffs?

Please dont do southern front to level from 80-90 thats for levels 71-80 . when the new jobs come do Eureka Orthos to get to 90 thats why it came out it will be popular again once the jobs are released.
I went to Bozja finaly to farm for the glam, with in four lockboxes i got Gabriel alpha key, and the parasole. so i don't need as much from the mog tome event this time.
9S card is really not worth it you can get it really easily imo! the longest part is just to get in the actual raid lmao

not sure why you wouldnt just farm out the round lanner. The fight is a bit tedious but it is not difficult with any level 90 job, even with just EW job gear.

The round lanner always takes like 3-4 minutes per run due to the adds phase, so I'd always say buy even if you have a team ready to do it. It just sucks.
Jade Stoa Ex can also be solo by SCH using the recitation + adloquium shield for the back-to-back stack at Lv.90.
If you search "jade stoa extreme SCH solo”, there should be at least 2 videos for successful solo run. One of them was by me but I am not sure if it is appropriate to link it (conflict of interest).
Thank you for this. I appreciate the breakdown. I'll probably just be getting the barding, MGP, and maps. The rewards are fantastic for sprouts but not so much people who have been playing a while. Also Kudos for not naming that Trial.

For ANY debuff that is applied on hit, if you can block the damage you block the debuff, so any class that can heavily over shield can solo Byakko. WAR can solo Overshield at 90 so they are VERY safe for that farm.
This is super helpful, cheers! I only started a month or so back so I've been trying to google all the items to see how to get them normally but it's a slog to find them all. As a sprout I'll probably be investing in most the mounts and minions for sure.
Question. So I recently started Shadowbringers and I've been triple triad hunting since I was in ARR. I'm currently at 240 cards or so but at the moogle rewards, the innocence and 9s card aren't listed for me. Is this because I currently have not unlocked the duties that the cards are from?
