0:37 As a fan of prehistory, this section of Ecco the Dolphin makes me so mad because this prehistoric section supposedly takes place 55 million years in the past after you go back in time with a time machine from Atlantis. Given the fact that you visit Atlantis in its sunken state, the date of your reactivation of its time machine couldn't be before the 5th century BC, making the date you arrive at in prehistory the early Eocene epoch of the Cenozoic Era. HOWEVER, when you arrive, you are not only greeted by Paleozoic organisms that should have been long gone such as the nautiloids, the trilobites (which replace the pufferfish from the present-day levels) and the Dunkleosteus (which replace the sharks), you are ALSO greeted by Mesozoic creatures like the ammonites and a Pteranodon (which you communicate with to progress in the level!) that shouldn't exist at the same time, and NONE of these creatures should even be EXISTING during this time, it just makes me so (unreasonably) mad! (yes, I know it's just a video game, but I am really passionate about prehistory, you have to understand)
