We already know how the spy networks in Iran and China got compromised there was a big expose on it early this year in TheDiplomat. Iran discovered a series of phony corporate websites the CIA was using to communicate with it's assets, worked back from who was visiting these pages to deduce who was probably spying and passed the information onto China.
