FedEx Driver Confesses to Killing 7-Year-Old Girl: Cops



The kidnapping and murder of Athena Strand, allegedly by a FedEx driver, is haunting America. Police say the 7-year-old girl was abducted from the driveway of her home outside of Fort Worth, Texas. Her body was found two days later. According to police, 31-year-old suspect Tanner Horner confessed to the crime. Her heartbroken mother says β€œI cannot describe the pain and absolute anger I feel.” She continues β€œMy princess was taken from me [by] a sick, cruel monster.”

According to a story I read about this, he accidentally hit her with his delivery van and even after seeing that she was clearly okay, he shoved her into his van and tried to break her neck and then strangled her because he was afraid she would tell her father what happened. So he went from slightly injuring her to killing her because he panicked.

    Way to screw yourself, genius. You went from accidentally injuring her to deliberately killing her. You really escalated the situation. You ended her life and made things infinitely worse for yourself. Have fun in prison and please remember to drop the soap.

  4. My thing is wasn’t there any surveillance cameras nowhere to have caught this guy taking this child. This infuriates me… poor baby girl just imagine her last minutes in this monster hands. My condolences to the family.
