  1. Saudia Arabia? Those countries you mentioned are very conservative and are banning same same sex kiss scene in Disney movies. Shocked Disney put a park in China a country of human civil liberty violations and has slaves

  2. Here's one secret most people don't know…

Disneyland does actually have a tunnel underneath it. It runs from Space Mountain to Pixie Hallow and it's how Tinker Bell gets there without people seeing her. Another one that kinda is a secret unless you're a castmember is behind Space Mountain, back stage, it looks like a mini mall with restaurant, Starbucks, ATM & offices that look like a strip mall.

  3. The clip of Mickey in the MGM movie is on Y/T. It's called Mickey Mouse in Hollywood Party 1934 (Better Quality) On McCartoon channel. It's cool! Mickey punches Jimmy Durante in the nose and imitates him, etc. Both Donald Duck movies The Wise Little Hen and Mr. Duck Steps Out are on Disney+

  4. The monorail was used as 'transportation'. We always took it into the Park from the Disneyland Hotel and back. That was the way to get there and one of the best perks of staying at the hotel. And I think at one time you could just purchase a round trip ticket to view the Park, but couldn't get off the monorail.

  6. @48:39 Which country should Disney build a new park? Yes, Saudi Arabia would be amazing, they're begging for more "diversity & inclusion" and all the pride merchandise would be a MASSIVE hit there 🤣🤣🤣… And the other prospective location of Rio de Janeiro… yeah that would be a great, I'm well known in Rio and can show you guys around, ask for me "Capitão Nascimento"… I'm kind of a big deal.

  7. I still think theres soon-to-be drone charging pads on the roof of Runaway Railway. Good view of them from a recent Micechat post. There's even one (the largest one) dead center with the castle. I did see a CM with a pin trading thing, outside Animation Academy back in April. Zurg's secret target is allegedly dead center on the chest, below the Z.

  8. there was a time when you could buy a ticket to board the monorail at the disneyland hotel station for a round trip. i believe it cost less than a dollar. you would be put in the back compartment so you couldn't exit in tomorrowland. i think it was discontinued in the 80s.

  9. You can still pin trade in the parks, but most of the trading is now done off trading boards rather than CM lanyards. We found at least 1 board in every land in the merchandise locations.

  10. That’s right Ronnie you got it right they are never going to do jack sparrow without THE jack sparrow Johnny Depp!!! You’re right it’s a money making machine and let me tell you Disney would be foolish foolish foolish foolish to let him go now that he’s won!! everyone could make $1 billion here and what’s a mere million alpacas that’s no big deal Disney better get there Alpacas together!! ( as soon as the appeal is over Disney better offer him something they better get started on negotiations as a deal because everybody could make billions here) Disney better jump on it while They can.. before that window closes ..And even when you’re a millionaire you can still use another mill or two … He is Captain Jack and you’re right nobody will go if he’s not in it I follow this Closely and you are 1000% correct it would be foolish to get rid of him completely whether it be two years five years ….. years … they don’t have time to wait years they better hurry up because he’s not getting any younger!!! $$$

  12. Regarding Disney in Australia, I don’t think that’s ever likely. We haven’t even been able to sustain a World of Disney Store which closed years ago in at the Crown Casino complex in Melbourne. Sydney has had nothing more than an Amusement Park (Australia’s Wonderland) and the short lived Fox Studios which no longer exist. Only Raging Waters, a water park in Sydney, still operates. The Theme Parks/Amusement Parks on the Gold Coast are doing well but the price point is a fraction of what Disney would have to charge. You can get a 7 day pass to 4 of the Gold Coast Parks for AU$189 (about US$130) and Disney would be charging more than that per day. We just don’t have the population to sustain a Disney Park in Sydney even with 6 million people in the city. As you correctly say, even though we have lots of tourists, people probably wouldn’t travel to Australia for Disney.

  13. Story I heard many years ago re: Disneyland coming to Aust. A trucking magnate, Lindsay Fox, bought a large airport near the town of Avalon, about 60km south west of Melbourne Vic. Looking for ways to generate income, the story goes, he approached Disney with the idea to build a theme park close to his new airport. It would have almost been like Walt building in Anaheim. There's not much there – lots of farm land, but with an airport nearby guests would be able to fly direct to there and be at the resort with 10-15 minutes. This was around 1997-98.

  14. I’ve been working on a Tomorrowland in Walts vision. Futurism and concepts from Epcot. A lot of space mountain ideas couldn’t be used back in the 60s because of the lack of technology. I feel like this overlay of Buzz Lightyear is Cheap and Lazy. We need a Worlds Fair. Yes add characters, that’s fine. TRON, great idea no problem with that. But Tomorrowland is about transportation of the future and how we can better ourselves for a brighter tomorrow. I feel like just overlaying is completely Disrespectful to Walt.
Now will my ideas be listened to? I don’t know. I’m only a Attractions Cast Member. But I’m pouring my heart out into ideas on how to make this Walts Tomorrowland.
The nostalgia kick needs to end, we need creativity

  15. I was on Smuggler's Run earlier this week. We did bad, really bad. Like 5 of 6 had never done it before. We crashed so often I expect the game to just give up. Anyway at the end Hondo tells us that we had picked up a Hitchhiker and that it happens sometimes. Anyone else have this happen?

  16. Love the new segment. I think it would be fun if you did a roses and thorns type of thing… like 3 things you are liking in the parks right now, 2 you are looking forward to and one thing you didn’t like.

  18. As an Aussie I would love a Disney park here but I'm not sure we'll see it. There is a good video on the Review Tyme channel showing that Aus was close at one point but that Shanghai put paid to it.
