Father of Jonathan Udall killed in Grand Canyon helicopter crash says aircraft was 'a flying bomb'

The parents of a British man who died in a helicopter crash in the Grand Canyon have spoken out over his death.

Jonathan Udall, 31, was one of five Britons, including his new wife, who died after the aircraft crashed and burst into flames in February 2018.

His father Philip Udall claimed in a wrongful death lawsuit his son could have survived if it was not for the post-crash fire – caused by the helicopter’s fuel tank that they claim was prone to rupturing.

  1. When my family was in Vegas I contemplated a helicopter flight to the Grand Canyon for a picnic tour But I have never trusted the reliability of helicopters and did not book.

  2. This is a dangerous way to see the Grand canyon so anyone riding the deadly helicopters is risking their lives. I don't care what the promoters say about the safety of the trip. They are in for the money. Don't do it.🥵🥵🥴
