Yes, the sanctioning by our Pope of gravely sinful actions of public figures does hurt those who suffer because of their adherence to Catholic teaching. It also hurts those who don’t adhere, by telling them that not to adhere is ok. – keep it up. And finally, it hurts those public figures who are not fraternally corrected and are allowed to eat and drink condemnation on themselves. “…you surely will not die”. I asked a deacon tonight in a RCIA class what he thought of Bishop Strickland. He wouldn't even talk about it. He told me no comment. I was really surprised. It made me not want me to never to ask a question again.

Question Taylor Marshall if the church says that same sex marriage is accepted could this lead to less sexual assaults blamed on the church? To me this will only close a door to say that this (abuse) was granted and not abuse at all. Bishop Strickland was dismissed because he was right and Pope Francis needed to eliminate and discredit his leadership.
