Father and son dead in Sydney car crash

A father and teenage son have died in a freak road accident north of Sydney this morning.

With wet weather forecast for the week ahead, police are urging people to drive to the conditions.

The two-vehicle crash occurred at the M1 Pacific Motorway, Ourimbah, near Kangy Angy.

Police say the station wagon with the father and son became bogged in the grass on the medium strip around 9am on Saturday.

Witnesses – including an off-duty police officer and a nurse – attempted to help the crash victims at the time.

  2. Again. accidents are accidents for a reason. they can't be avoided. "traffic laws" are nothing more than extortion/revenue raising. they achieve nothing. even speed limits are apparently now a suggestion 1:45, they saved no one in this instance, nor in any instance. Becuase nobody WANTS to have an accident, it's obvious. taking people's money/freedom doesn't avoid accidents. but it does take power away from the individual and hand it to the "2 weeks to flatten the curve people" 🤦‍♂️
